Astoria Hotel - Goan restaurant in Goa, Assagao - North Goa, India

This is the hotel away from busy roads city distraction . Amidst lot of lot of trees. plants . Perfect to stay and relax . There is no tv at room . No unnecessary distractions . You will feel like staying with nature that too near to sea shore , vagator , Baga beach etc are just 10 mins drive from here. The hotel owner is too good to talking ke care of anything that's needed. This is second time we stayed there. Enjoyed a lot and definitely recommend others who praise nature.

The hotel gives a plesant experience of calm and serene side of Goa. Sitting in between Mapusa city and the Anjuna beach the location is perfect. The well maintained plantation around the premise and the 200 years old construction adds to the beauty of this place. The issues that bothered me are that the level of cleanliness and room service not being up to the mark. But the staff and the owner were friendly and helpful. For the price offered I'd say it's definitely a place worth staying more than once.

Dont stay at this place. The rooms are dirty, the geyser does not work, there was no proper water supply and when informed the manager Aaron Fonseca he did not respond quickly. Overall bad experience.

Its a very nice place to stay in goa, just a bit away from the hustle bustle of the city of mapusa, it is 3 kms away from mapusa, and close to the Anjuna Beach which is only 7 kms away. The food is also very good. the place is situated on a big area and have more than 3-4 difference buildings in which the rooms are located. the area is surrounded with good flora, and trees. The quality and taste of food is excellent. If you stay here once you are bound to book it again in goa

Easily the most charming places to stay at in Goa with all the greenery. Lovely people at the hotel. Gives you a feeling as if you're with some family members and not in a hotel. I visited in Monsoons and the place looks so lovely at that time that it is difficult to pull yourself out of the hotel and visit the city. In fact, one of the most beautiful experiences here was reading while watching it rain from the restro-bar of the hotel. Just beautiful.

Less than 3 stars but more than 2. No room service, Water was leaking through the roof, frequent power cuts. One night when it was raining heavily, the hotel didn't have food to serve for the guests. The good thing about the Hotel is that its very calm, not in a crowded place and almost in the centre of the North Goa Beaches like Vagator, Morjim, Calangute & Anjuna. If you are not going to stay much in the Hotel only then you should stay here. My other friends didn't like the Hotel much.

Me and my husband had been here last week. The moment i entered the place, i really did not like it by thinking its far from city and all. But we had no option to find out another hotel at that time. And now we are happy that we stayed in this hotel otherwise we must have missed all such super ambiance, peace of mind and great hospitality. Being there for the first time Mr and Mrs Edwin(Owner of the hotel) helped us to plan our tour. Hotel is located in a peaceful place. Has a beautiful garden. Close to mapusa city and also not far from beaches. All the staffs are very friendly (Arron , Nakul and offourse Mr and Mrs Edwin). They have a restaurant too where you can get super tasty Goan food. We would love to stay here next time we visit Goa :) :)

If u are looking for beach side hotel with family or couple this is the best hotel in Goa. I m being here in Goa 50-51 times but this stay is the best most memorable with family. The room itself is 500sq ft big with pool just in front & walkable distance to baga beach for water sports & all. Service wise the staff is excellent they are just standing on toes for guest. Breakfast was awesome. Biggest drawback is thay have less rooms & most of the time they are full. So plan in adavance for Goa trip if u wanna stay in this hotel. Now it is no. 2 hotel rated by trip advisor but sure will come no. W hotel in that area very soon.
