Very nice experience on this place. Climbing is not a easy task... We get whole view of the city from here.
It is old buddhist era place you can observe and watch the beautiful scene from this "Tilla" it is preserved by local Body of Govt if govt try to make it more beautification can take care of it with also making Buddha Temple, then more people can visit this cite. This must be protected by govt
This site belongs to BC period and is supposed to be associated with Asnadhimitta, the chief queen of none other than the greatest emperor of Indian history: Ashoka the Great, who adopted Buddhism after Kalinga war and went on to spread it to the entire world. The historical importance of this site is quite great, and in comparison to that, the upkeep of this place is utterly pathetic. In fact there's no upkeep at all. The monument stands completely neglected, and in ruins and is deteriorating day by day. Maybe it is due to the fact that even the local people are not aware of its glorious history and importance. A must visit for archaeology lovers.
No effort by the government to preserve this. It appears to very wide girth Ashoka era stupa. These stupas were very revered because invariably they have ashes of either Buddha or his Arhant followers. It needs urgent intervention.
Been there, just a simple historic symbol. Not good for adventure. Scary in evening. Not an easy way to reach on top. Not at all for tourism purpose. Only for locals
This place was worst kept archeological site in entire india. Open gates, cattles outside and dis-respected by locals. When entire india is trying to reap Buddhist tourist dividend, look what Haryana is doing !
