Assam Valley Lodge - Lodge in Guwahati - Kamrup Metro, India

The Assam Valley Lodge located at Paltan Bazar, Guwahati, Assam. It is located in the perfect location in terms of accessible for different types of services, such as Market, transportation, fast food stalls, etc. The pricing of the lodge is satisfactory according to the service they provide. But still there are many shortage in the services which can be easily improve or upgraded such as TV, bathroom needs more maintenance, room services, drinking water/filters can be imposed and telephone to connect with the staff from the room, etc according to the pricing. Over all is good enough. Hoping for improvement in the services in future days.

We go to guwahati for the first time and we don't know where to stay i find this place and the bathroom is very dirty food is not so tasty by the way you can visit in guwahati .

It was not clean at all. The bathrooms are in bad Condition. There is no water in some taps. I gave 2 coz we had to book it in emergency at night and they let us live. Although breakfast was bad they give you 2 bread pieces in breakfast... I would not recommend it if u want a pleasant stay.

Room is to small too stayed. we paid 1500 rupees 1 night for a.c rooms.. Room size might be 400 sq to 500sq mostly. They extend some room in belcony areas with washroom,which is not air free for night holt..,even no windows... Huge amount of money would pay to Manager for getting rooms, but actual rates are not such that of... Please The Authorities shall visit once,, it's my request... Please

Room is not totally clean and not windy. There is not any hanger in wardrobe , room no 102 .Hotel is in a walkable distance from Guwahati Station. Hotel Staff's welcomed warmly. Hotel for meal and dinner , restaurant is located nearby. Bus stop is also close. Place is also quite. Overall Hotel location is good.

Property was located near by the railway station. I didn't tried food in the hotel. Caretaker was helpful enough to manage our services and For going out and coming back there was no time restriction. Free WiFi was missing.

The location of the hotel is very good. Its just below Ullubari flyover from Paltanbazar end. Stuffs are curteious. Aminites are not up to the mark. Hotel has its own restaurent plus you can find many other restaurent near by. O could have given satisfactory no but for this they need more improovement. I booked here 2 rooms for me & my family. I recomend any one can stay with there family. Another thing those who coming Guwhati by train please use Paltanbazar side gate of station (if you are staying at Paltanbazar or Ullubari, as 2 exit gates are there Panbazaar and Paltanbazaar). If you walk little bit fast you can rech hotel by 6 to 7 minutes from station.

I took up a budget single room. It was small but there was a functional tv and the room was clean. The location of the hotel is a 5/5, it's about 700 meters from Paltan Bazaar and about a 100 meters from Ulubari airport Volvo point ( you can catch a volvo bus to the airport at a charge of 130/-, service stops at 3:30 in the afternoon ). There are a billion food joints nearby and also shared taxi/bus/tempo traveler points. Very pleasant experience. Please do inform the staff if you would be checking-in at odd hours. Most of Guwahati goes to sleep after 10 p.m. till 4 a.m..
