Teachers are really experienced and knowledgeable. Teachers and placement cell work very hard to provide you good placements. 3. Are you having a bad day? .... Don't worry there are many places inside the university where you can just enjoy and forget the worries. For instance, Botanical park, Soccer ground near engineering department, etc. 4. Gymnasium, NCC, other facilities, cultural programs are very well provided. 5. Very safe for students as the security guards are well trained. 6. Ever visited fine arts department? ...do visit 7. A lot of things are there...visit the university..and you will get to know.
Far from the din and bustle of the town, the campus is situated amidst greenery and natural serenity. The campus is clean and is well-maintained. The campus also houses a number of natural resources in terms of unique flora and fauna.

It has a great importance for the youth of Assam and its surrounding states like west Bengal, Manipur etc. for their higher education. There is a Kendriya Vidyalaya also namely KV ASSAM UNIVERSITY. many subjects are offered for higher studies here. But the university can be better by developing it's infrastructure with help of Govt. Funding.
It's a big university in Assam, such a friendly environment! All the lecturers really get to know you and treat you as an individual rather than just a number, they are so supportive. It's so inclusive and the students are all in the same position so worries can easily be resolved as you are never on your own
It is a beautiful University...... really liked the environment over there......situated on the outskirts of the city..... you can go and visit the campus....
