Assam Jatri Niwas - Lodge in Puri - Puri, India

Location is at a walkable distance from the temple. But stay at this place is pathetic in terms of cleanliness and hygiene. Cockroaches in the rooms and inside the cupboards. Bathrooms were not clean.

Location is good, but behavior of Manager /Panda is rude. Maintain no register. No response to the cleaning of bathroom, change of bed sheet, pillow cover. Most of time they stop the lift from working intentionally. Switch off cold water from filter. He is the manager, he is the panda and at the same time he is the villain. I stayed 4 days wef 12July 2023 with bitter experience. They took Rs 1500 per day. Avoid it at any cost.

The best thing about this niwas is the location, you can easily see the temple. Rooms are clean but they will charge extra rupees for cleaning. They provide bhog at night and the canteen is also good. The managing stuff is not so good some of them are very rude.

In Assam JATRI NIWAS there were no lock in washroom and rooms were also very dirty. Staff behavior was very rude and the panda was also very bad. And the staff is had very attitude they donot response us they had attitude because this hotel is made by Himanta Biswas Sarma. Very disappointed with this. I request to all people please don't stay in here waste of money

Pilgrims from Assam are the regular visitors and pandas are really helpful. Stay for only senior citizens

Plus point are that, big spacious rooms with short distance from Sree Jagannath Temple. I hired an AC rooms. Primarily I was oferred a room in which the AC does not works, on complaint, they immediately change to another one, which has balcony also. But Cons are: Lack of maintenance, Less attentive staff. I ahve asked for 4 times for a glass of Lukewarm water and it took nearly 10 hours to provide the water. Perhaps, this was happened as it is a Dharamshala. But it is well furnished.

Pathetic experience. I have booked this property for my parents (senior citizen) on the basis of description of hotel. Hotel whose photo are being shared is demolished. New hotel is in interior. needs to take action on this matter.Behavior of hotel manager is Pathetic. He should be ashamed of his arrogant behavior with guests. Wifi password was denied by manager. Reason given that owner has said so.Television was hanging like a painting only. No cable connection was there. No specific reason for this given by property.No hot water/ Geyger present.Have to ask for basic things like toiletries, water, glass, bedsheets. Water Glass was provided next day only and that on asking again by my parents.No service, no assistance.Avoid this property if you do not want to get humiliated. Many other better options are available in goibibo.

Affordable price Neat Rooms. Don't take NON Ac rooms. Very hot place. Very near to Puri temple. Clean rooms. Worst response from People. They don't respond you properly even for small questions. Treat you as if you have taken room for free. But Rooms are good. Management is doing in a minimal profit I think. Spacious Parking Narrow roads. No Board outside. So hard to find from outside
