Visited the university as an expert member and stayed in the guest house for two nights; campus is sprawling, clean, well organized and cared for roads, signage, good public services; departments well looked after, strong faculty, motivated research scholars and students, but seems to suffer from fewer work and extension opportunities for this state agriculture University, requires special state support for undertaking farmer-friendly advanced agricultural practices for better farm output and sustainable agriculture.
In this garden, there can be almost extinct trees. There is an enormous tea garden

AAU is one of the best govt university in India.And the inner campus is also very big. There are fisheries, tea plantation, stadium, sports field, Gym, bank. Everything that can be asked from a University. They also got hostel accommodation. Overall any student wanting to come here can apply.
Its originaly a natural low land garden . Its beauty lies on water lily.
