Ashreen Guest House - Extended stay hotel in Kolkata - Kolkata, India

The location of the hotel is the main attraction. But overall its an average hotel. The bedcover and the pillow covers should be more clean. Staffs are good. But they should focus on the hygiene of the hotel.

Though the room was small it wasn't any problem as we stayed little time in hotel. But, there were lot of cockroaches running around in the room when we turned the lights on after returning to room after whole day. The staffs were not present all time. We have to asked several time to get a fresh towel. The only positive thing is, the hotel is just beside New market area & so the communication is great.

Being a1 star hotel surprisingly it was a good experience for me staying there... starting from the rooms it was quite good for 3 persons, talking about service it was too good their staffs r so polite n helpful they r available 24/7 at ur service two of the receptionists r also great... lastly talking about location it's just 1 minute walk from new market n u can get every possible needs from that location... so if u r looking for a budget friendly hotel u should definitely give it a try...

The rooms on 3rd floor namely 303 & 305 are in great condition .The floor is of wooden material and they too are broken from sidesas well as d walls are quite dirty . We stayed there for 1 day. As we extend our stay in d same hotel for 2 more days so they shifted us to 4th floor where d interiors of d rooms are quite impressive . If someone wants to book a room here i will personally suggest them to book rooms on 4th floor. Room service is good. Hotel staff are polite and well mannered

This is one of the best budget hotels situated roughly 30 second walk from New Market. The rooms are well maintained & ACs work perfectly. The staffs are so amiable n helpful. Especially the lady at the reception is so amazing; she took an extra mile to help us. The rooms are clean as well as the corridor n staircases. Being a repeat boarder, I would highly recommend this place for a pleasant stay during Kolkata trip.

Room & toilet are ok, but need to reinnovate as soon as possible, like painting, repair wooden floor, AC maintaince, mini bar doesn't work.

Average hotel,major issue is there is no lift and location is in the narrow road , Difficulties for cab &taxi access.Need to walk towards main road for taxi ..Best for marketing

Good hotel, nice and polite people. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Room service was excellent. Only negative is that it doesn't have a lift. Location is awesome, 50 to 100 meters from New Market.
