My 85 year old mother had a fracture of the upper thigh bone and was operated in Thalassery. As a result of a botched operation she was completely bed ridden after the operation. My search for a solution led me to Dr. Bejoy (orthopedic surgeon) of Ashraya Hospital in Mattannur. After reviewing my mother's case, the doctor suggested a bold procedure that involved removing the incorrectly inserted rod with an implant. Thanks to Dr Bejoy and the wonderful staff at Ashraya Hospital, my mother was able to take her first steps 3 days after the operation. She is now well enough to walk alone and manage her daily routine and is even able to climb the staircase at home with ease, giving her full mobility.

Ashraya hospital is known to me for more than 30 years. I was born in this hospital 35 years back. At that time Ashraya hospital was the only maternal and childhood hospital in this entire high range area with dedicated gynac operation theatre with facilities to treat new born babies. Came to know that Dr Sudhir was the 1st paediatrician and Dr Suchitra Sudhir was the 1st MD DGO Gynacologyst in this entire belt and during my childhood days I still remember Dr Sudhir trating me as paediatrician. My mother always used to say Best hospital for undergoing child birth with tender loving care. Now I came to know that this hospital has grown in to a multispeciality hospital with facilities for other specialities including, Full time emergency medical care with Laproscopic surgeries, foetal medicine department and medical and surgical departments. Also available MEDISEP Insurance. Our entire family now depends on Ashraya hospital.

Ashraya hospital was started on1982 initially a children hospital, 1st speciality hospital for paediatrics under the guidance of Dr Sudhir pediatrician. In 1987 became a mother and children hospital when Dr Suchitra Sudhir MD DGO joined as Gynaecologist. Zero star rating !!! Never ever go to this hospital for delivery, you may lose your wife/sister/mother. Writing this from our personal experience , our sister had very bad experience from here. God saved her from these vultures. Never go there. These are the people who made her in this situation & acting like they saved her. Even after all this happen these people telling us " dont say this to anyone" really ??? This is what you are doing to the patients?? This is how you treat them ? You can accept from them 0 humanity, 0 commitments, 0 attention, 0 Subtlety, We have all records and we are planning to move legally against these people. Not going to leave this here.

please dont go there, if you want to live more, find any other hospital. these people dont know how to treat a patient, they dont know how to behave with a bystanding person. they dont know the pain of the patient and they want to make you more painful, and they're enjoying it as bloody cannibals (they will not give you an anesthesia, the nurses there will hold your hands, legs, even your head and cover your mouth so no one can hear you are screaming) i am so lucky that they didnt took my soul. 100% worst hospital in this area, and the most worst doctors.
