The name Ashram More is of olden times. At this point on G.T.Road the famous R K Mission High School , Asansol was situated. That's why the name Ashram More. In 1997 the school shifted to some other place. But still the name continues . Now a days it has shops , shopping complexes , hotels etc around it. A road to Kalla , Domohani , Churulia bifurcates from G.T.Road.
