One of the oldest restaurants in Behala. 20 sitting capacity, good quality and quantity food in good price. They offer mughlai, tandoori, Chinese,and bengali food. But they do not have any mocktails. They also have a roll option. Recently they renovated the interior . Food quality is really good and quantity also till now 17th july 2023.
Below average food. Mughlai paratha was not available. Ordered Tandoori Roti, Chicken Kasha and Chicken Chilli Garlic Noodles. None of the dishes tasted good. The only thing which is recommendable from this place is the Mughlai Paratha. (Adding the picture of Chicken Chilli Garlic Noodles)
I visited here on Mother's day with my Mom. We ordered mixed rice with Schezwan fish and prawn balls. First two items were pretty good and quantity was great. But prawn ball was not good. I could not find any prawn inside, it was veg balls. I complained the waiter also, but he said that they are prawn balls. Previously also I have eaten here, it is good. But this time this prawn ball disappointed me. Overall food taste and quantity here is good.
One of the better eatery in Behala, Kolkata. The food quality I should say is healthy. It May not tingle your taste buds bt I vouch for your happy stomach after the meal. The interior is small, yet cosy just loke a budget restaurant. But the aste of the food is not at all like a budget restaurant! The taste is great! They are specialized in chinese, however Moughlai cuisine here is also in a high demand. Last but not the least is the pocket pinch. It is also highly reasonable! If you want to have a quality food to fill up your stomach yet pocket friendly, then Ashoka Restaurant is for you the place to be in and around Behala.

This place is a very old place from where we have been eating snacks since we were kids and the quality and taste of food has been on point. Love the food here
