Amazing textiles made by a super talented family. The contemporary twist on traditional craft is very exciting and fresh. The quality is also great. I have used her beautiful pieces for making clothes as well as some home furnishings. Everyone always notices and complements the fabrics when ever I use them. Khalid bhai is an amazing artisan who is extremely passionate about his craft. His curiosity, willingness to learn and create something new reflects in his work which is one of it's kind. Besides, he is an amazing human and a wonderful story teller!! He was very kind to entertain me when I visited his workshop in Ajrakhpur. He shared some great insights on the craft of Ajrakh. His brand ashk is truly a reflection of his personality. Mubassirah, his daughter is yet another talented artist in the family. Her work of art is bold and beautiful just like herself.
