A good, but less maintained place.
It is a good place to visit and enjoy with the kids. The entry fees is INR 5/- only for age 5 & above. The swings and slides were not properly maintained. Moreover, many of them were broken. The steps and their sideways were also broken.
On the other side, the kids enjoyed a lot with the rolling slide, elephant, dinosaur and other working elements.
This park is very good for small children to play because they do not have large swings.
Also they have this small sweet momos shop.
And the momos there taste like heaven.
Had a great time there.
I have already gone to this place 4-5 times.
Also it is situated in the main market of ranikhet.
As there wasn't too much for kids to do , this was an okayish place for whiling sometime.
Beautiful trees , flowers and nature makes it worthwhile for a quick stop .
Swings and walking path if a bit better maintained would have done a lot better.
Entry fee is Rs5 per person.( Child or adult) which includes access to park and basic swings .
Games and boating are charged extra.
Lack of Washroom and eats add to the cons of the park.
Also, take care of your glares, food, phones and bags cos of the monkeys around as you would find them in great number.
Very poor park in ranikhet.

Because I m specially go to ranikhet from nanital only for this park with my family.

Awesome park with most of the swings which are working. Full of naturally grown trees which give this place an amazing look. You will also find options like small paddle water boats and jumping air balloons (separate tickets required). Entry in the park is free for children up to 7 years. Children will really enjoy it here so when visiting ranikhet do plan to visit this place.
Just one con, washrooms are not clean and they insist you to use the public toilet outside.
This park is good for kids. One time visit is ok. Green grass is less but has trees. It is on slopes and has parking issues. It has trampoline and boating but for small kids. Dont visit exclusively for this park. 5 rs entry fee is applicabe for adults.
The park is well maintained. There are slides, swings, animals sculptures, sitting area and a small pond for kids to sit on the water boat and enjoy splashing. The charge was Rs50 for 5 minutes, if you want to child to enjoy. The entry fee was Rs10per adult. No entry fee for kids upto age of 14 years.
Good relaxing place for kids and families alike. Parking is by the roadmap. One must go a few steps downhill so elders may need help. Good swings, well maintained. Not much large but on the main road so can stop by on a lazy day for a quick picnic. Just 1-2 hawkers at the entrance so nothing much to eat. Well maintained park. Beware of the monkeys when eating something.

One of the oldest and best softy/ice cream shop at Ranikhet. The gentleman who owns the shop is a very sweet old man. They make the softy from pure milk and it tastes far better than the ones u get at Mc Donald's....in multiple flavours.

Somnath Dwar is the war memorial dedicated to Major Somanth Sharma. He was the atmy officer and the first receipent of PVC.
Somnath Dwar also has Parade Ground for the training of Indian Army recruits in the Kumaon Regiment.

Aloo in mix veg was properly cooked with I loved. Butter Tandoori roti was butterly delicious & soft. & Masala dosa is delicious too. Fast service, Great food & quality. So I can say thatvall menu is great to have!
Entry ticket cost is Adult 75 & Child 50. Photography is not allowed inside. Full history of both Naga and Kumaon Regiment is displayed here. The place is full of GYAN. YOU need atleast 5 hours to read all what is displayed there.
Loved the food. They're experts in crafting delicious and traditional meals. Not only are they hygienic but also they maintain the healthy standards among the dishes.
