Ashiyana Cliff And Beach Resort - Resort hotel in Varkala - Thiruvananthapuram, India

It's a realy realy small space old rooms but with a 1ton Ac which works. I would say this place was realy good for how much they charge us. They were kind enough for extending the checkout. Would definitely recommend this place if u r looking for a cheap hideout

Positive: We stayed at the hotel for 3 days. The staff we exceedingly helpful, giving us lifts into Town to buy train tickets and do printing, and waking us to the cliff so we knew where the beach was. They were part of a wider family who had a shop, cafe and organised surf lessons which were all great. The resort was lovely and had free water refills which I really appreciate. We felt very comfortable in this property..

Positive: The owner and his wife are gorgeous. So friendly and nice - invited us on new year's eve to join them and another group for snacks. We liked that the hotel is small and cosy and that there is the option to take yoga sessions. Hopefully we will return soon.. Negative: Nothing to complain..

A wonderful place to stay. The owners are friendly and kind, speaking a number of languages including French and English. Willing to negotiate price. They cooked me an amazing meal for free and they are trying to be eco friendly. Decor is a little dated but if your looking for a quiet relaxed place for a good price you can do no better. Close to the action of north cliff without being at all hectic.

I spent 15 days here and I was very happy with my stay. The owner and the staff is super nice, always there for you if you have any kind of questions or needs. The place is located very close to the cliff, where you can find many nice restaurants, shops and also the stairs from the cliff to the beach. The place is very clean and they offer room cleaning whenever you want. There is a water heather for your hot drink and water machine with drinking water. They also have a nice lounge area between the rooms, where you can relax and read some books.

The rooms are really big and getting them for such a price seemed like a great deal. The courtyard is good for relaxing and they have free tea and coffee in the common area which we really enjoyed. There's a bathtub in the rooms and a balcony. Couldn't have asked for more. The host and the caretaker are also very helpful

Positive: - Location: 100m to the beach. - Received a room upgrade from cottage to deluxe room. - Room was clean and comfortable. - Whole building looks well maintained and is nicely decorated/arranged. - Free coffee and tea. - Staff is friendly and helpful. - Yoga room at the roof top.. Negative: - Card payment was not possible / working. - Electricity cut in the night (no fan/AC) due to the heavy rain probably. - Humidity in the room. - A/C caused a small leakage into the room..

Positive: We were really ill and needed AC. Booked on booking.com at 23:30 and arrived 10 minuets later. They were very accomodating and understanding, we felt very welcome. The room was very cool and clean. All in all it was a fantastic stay and would reccomend the hotel to anyone staying in Varkala.. Negative: Nothing..
