USP of the place is it's own plantation area and the host Abhishek who is very friendly and accommodating to needs of the guest . Excellent stay from COVID point of view as you have the full property to yourself. Location : Peaceful with big coffee plantation area and garden in front with flowers and fruits. Amenities/ Food : Rooms are spacious and there are lot of area to sit out which kids can enjoy to play games or play with property's friendly pet dogs . Food was fresh with local produce and homely . We always ended up overeating. Local trips : There are 2 hill view points 6-7 Kms and the river area which can be driven to is also nearby . The host took us in the plantation for a walk and bonfire was organised which we enjoyed .
We were a family of 10 adults and 4 children. We had a lovely time at this homestay all thanks to their fantastic hospitality! it really felt like home away from home. The kids enjoyed every bit of it, the space, the fruits from the garden and owner's special care for the kids. He took us to some scenic spots where we were only people around, a lovely sunset point, hilltops. Although this homestay dose not have any specific activities, we enjoyed walking around the their coffee estate/plantation, just sitting around by the garden relaxing and the charm of Bonfire at night. This food is very local but very tasty, all of us enjoyed freshly cooked food, my inlaws specially loved the food. The owner Abhishek was kind enough to give us some cutting of flower plants. I would say it really was the money's worth
Ashirvad Estate is a 25 acre coffee estate and bunglow built in 1970 and maintained well right on state highway near magge. The property can host upto 10-12 people easily. Owner gives you a nice tour of the estate and also hosted for an off roading experience to a nearby sunset point. Food is home made and done for your taste. To relax with family or friends this is a good place, but it will not serve the purpose if you looking for a scenic property on western ghat, activities or couple stay only. To go with a big group detox from the city Buzz this is the right place to be.
Thank you for inviting us to your home and the lovely breakfast, lunch & dinner. Not only was the food delicious, but we are also happy to know that their efforts. The whole tour was delightful.
Loved the place. We stayed there a couple of years ago and everything was planned and organized well by Abhishek.. truly a good host, nice estate, and located in a very serene area.
@ Location The homestay is situation situated right on the highway which makes reaching here convenient. It is build at a corner of the coffee estate & it has beautiful garden in front of it which has numerous trees fruits and beautiful flowers. Kids played football and cricket on the open area. You can see fireflies during night walk in monsoon season. @Food Meals were simple and tasty. We were served non-veg in the dinner along with usual veg dishes. Variety of food in lunch and dinner was good. For breakfast we had Rava idli on first day and Akki roti on the second. Owner was kind enough to accommodate request for eggs for the kids. I felt breakfast should have atleast one more option. @Facilities The ground floor where we were staying was having 2 large rooms with attached bathroom. High speed wifi is provided and a few indoor games were there too for the kids to play. There were few power cuts and please note they don't have power backup but this time of the year that was not a problem. Some outdoor games would have been nice. We carry out own football and cricket equipment so it was fine with us. @Host Abhishek was kind and very accommodating. He took us for a trek to nearby Parvathamma Temple Betta, which was one of the highlight of my sakleshpur trip. All in all it was good trip
Excellent home stay!!!! One of the best host that I've come across in a very very long time. Thanks Abhishek for having us and all the hospitality. Food was very homely and very very good. Definitely look forward to going back again sometime.
Excellent food, good hospitality but rooms can be better maintained. Linen also needs freshness. Electricity is a big problem, and they don't have power back up. Though we enjoyed the absence of it in our own ways !!
