My son of 4 years fallen from bed and his right hand got injured, I visited Dr. Mahesh Kharde for treatment he suggested to go for pediatric orthopedic surgeon since he needs a surgery and charged fees of Rs. 1,100/- to refer other doctor (Dr. Tushar Agarawal, Kandivali) and x-ray. I am fine with fees he charged but when I visited Dr. Ketan another Orthopedic Surgeon in Mumbai, he said no surgery is required and there is no degree called pediatric orthopedic surgeon in medical profession, all orthopedic surgeon can treat all the patients irrespective of there age & he did plaster to my son. I have few questions for Dr. Mahesh Kharde 1. If all the orthopedic surgeon are same and there no degree called pediatric orthopedic surgeon then why you don't treat my 4 years son and asked go to pediatric orthopedic surgeon? 2. Is there any surgery really needed in my son case? 3. Keeping in mind all the above questions, If you don't want to treat then why you charged fees? I suggest go to Mumbai side rather than relaying on Virar's Doctor's because you don't know what's going on in the minds of Doctor you are visiting some times they are tried or some times they don't want to treat patients or sometimes they miss lead the patient or his parents by saying degree name which really don't exists, and always second opinion is best. This whole incident happened after 6.00PM and as a parent of small kid who is in pain of injury, we are also tense that my son needs operation/surgery and need to find another doctor on same day in night time and taken him to Mumbai side for treatment in his painful situation you can imagine situation that is why I have given him 1star there is option for Zero Star. after all this I don't suggest him at all.
Had a very good experience for my first child. He weighed around 8 pounds. Still Doctor was able to pull off (literally) a normal delivery. Any other doctor would have definitely insisted for a c-section. They even allowed my husband inside the delivery room during the delivery. Also the rooms and staff are amazing and their overall behaviour with patients is very good. The treatment is also affordable. Would definitely recommend this hospital rather than going to overhyped one's in Virar.
Dr Mahesh kharde is a gem , simply brilliant doctor i have visited 3 doctors but when i visited here i got to know that 25 years of experience makes him best doctor far far better than other orthopedic doctors
