Poor service... government hospitals are better than Asha Hospital vadakara. Poor facilities. They are charging more than their facilities. Take too much time for procedures.
I lost my father while he was in the hospital's emergency department. Initially, he had come in with a stomach issue, but it turned out that his real problem was related to his heart. Unfortunately, the doctor on duty bluntly informed my father about his heart condition instead of bystanders, causing him to panic and ultimately leading to a cardiac arrest. The doctor's behavior during this critical moment was highly unprofessional.
I was very new to kerala.. due to seasonal and climatic change i was suffering from severe fever and headache.. doctor advised me to take covid rest.. so that i went there... And i came to know that it is one of the most costliest hospital in South India
Good service but no parking space
My review is about Dr.Vinod paediatrician & about Asha Hospital as well.. Let me first tell about the doctor.. parents better avoid this person he is such a confusing personality with literally no respect to the parents of babies .. he doesn't listen to concerns , suggesting unwanted medicines and treatments, pitching to admit baby when there is no concern at all... Asha hospital on other hand is completely ill maintained and managed improperly..!
My one year old Baby got admitted here for five days(viral fever) and these are the things I observed in this hospital : Cons : * A total lack of professionalism on the part of nurses and doctors alike. * Some Nurses do not even know the name of the medicine they are injecting into the patient and once we had to intervene to prevent the wrong medication being given to the baby. * A lack of hygiene and cleanliness inside the hospital. * They will never ever properly clear all the doubts that you have as a parent, this goes for both the doctors and nurses alike. *A very casual attitude of staff sitting at the reception and are clearly not there to help you. * Lack of coordination among the staff resulting in confusion regarding basic stuff. Pros : *A descent canteen in the ground floor caters to most of the needs regarding food and other stuff that you might need.
THE HOSPITAL PHARMACY ALMOST KILLED-OR-PERMANENTLY-DISABLED MY 5 YEAR OLD. The pharmacy gave 3 TIMES higher the dose of antibiotic doctor prescribed, MOXCLAV 625mg and my kid took the medicine and got serious vomiting conditions. With all praises to Allah i doubted the second day itself and with the help of an other pharmacy deciphered doctor's prescription to only found it was actually MOXCLAV 228mg. It's a total and unforgivable negligence since the prescription/medicine went through two or more Pharmacy staffs They gave an antibiotic that may be prescribed for a 30yr old to a 5yr old. I could've got no clue and given higher dose tablets to my son and may get him killed or permanently failed his Kidney or Liver. All perfect praises to ALLAH. Also when I went to the Hospital pharmacy to complain they took it in a very negligent manner. Since my manners don't insist me to put up a show, I just said I will go legal and left the place. The Hospital's ATROCITY NATURE only revealed after! After I left they, though my phone number was available in the prescription, without even tried to contact me, a few pharmacy staff went to my house to grab the evidence i.e the medicine! Also in the event they gave a shock to my old aged parents at home, whom I didn't made aware of the event due to the shocking nature of the event caused to their grandson. They broke down in tears went through serious ailments. In short the event gave a tremendous mental and physical trauma to me and my family. Below attached are prescription and pharmacy bill. I suggest all viewers of my review (if they didn't deleted it) to not even considering going to this Hospital. RUNAWAY.!
