Ascent ENT Hospital & Medical Centre - Specialized hospital in Palakkad - Palakkad, India

I don't know where to start from. Ascent indeed is an asset to people in and around Palakkad where specialty treatments and surgical procedures are nearly unavailable. We took our 4-year-old daughter to Ascent for Adenoid Hypertrophy. She underwent surgery under ENT surgeon Dr. Prashanth without whom I don't think I would have been confident and ready to get the whole procedure done. He is kind, and generous and made sure that our daughter was aware of her situation and ensured her comfortability throughout. Dr. Shehadri Ganesh, the anesthesiologist, was patient, even though we had to push the surgery 2-3 times since she had a fever and cough. There was an instance where she was admitted and taken into the ICU for surgery, but just before cannulating her nurses found out that her body temperature was high, informed the doctors, and pushed the surgery to another date considering the difficulties it could cause to our daughter afterwards. Nurses kept calling us every other day to confirm that she was recovering until the surgery was done. Sister Fathima, Sister Seena, and those in the ICU and others handling the night shifts were so understanding, kind, and compassionate. They handled the crankiness of a four-year-old so well that we never had to worry at any point during our stay at the hospital. Not to forget, the insurance department is so meticulous and systematic that Mr. Prasad Rao and his team made sure that patients or their bystanders did not have to run around to get things done. The admin staff, security, pharmacy, laboratory, and every other staff at the hospital are so humane and considerate to every OP and IP patients. The staff at the front desk are also so welcoming and hospitable that we had the best experience with Ascent all over.

We went to ASCENT Hospital Palakkad for my son's adenoid surgery. Doctor Prashant explained us clearly what the process was 1 day before itself and assured us. We had lot of comfort in Dr. Prashant's advice and care given to my son.Post surgery my son is fine now. The best part of Ascent hospital is the infrastructure and state of the art surgical machines used by them at a very nominal cost. In Palakkad, I dont think I could get such good service for ENT in any other hospitals. I highly recommend ASCENT hospital , Pkd and Dr. Prashant. Thank you.

Overall everything was fine and Dr.Prashanth was very good with his service as well as behaviour except the lady who was standing in the endoscopy department where she is wearing a white coat and not at all jovial and that lady was literally shouting at a 3 yrs baby for endoscopy and i don't know from where the hell did she take her education cause if am giving only 3 stars that cause of her attitude towards her job. Even i am a person who is this hospitality industry and haven't seen such rude attitude towards children these types of ladies should be thrown out of the hospital ASAP for your reputation.

Recently had a septoplasty surgery, surgery went well Dr.prasanth prameswaran was very kind and pleasant. it's a good experience. The services were good and the nurse was really helpful and caring. Very good treatment and the doctor are friendly . Thanks to Dr.prasanth prameswaran did a great job.
