Arya Vaidya Sala - Alternative Medicine Clinic in Kottakkal - Malappuram, India

Came here to get my mother and father treated. Good and oldest Ayurvedic hospital in Kerala. As of now treatment seems good and there is relief in pain and improvement than before.!!! Kozhikode is the near airport from Kottakkal and Tirur is the nearest railway station. You can plan Kerala tour also as Ooty and other places are near by.

The treatments here are amazing. All the staff is really friendly and kind. Always taking care of you and making sure you are comfortable. Doctors are very experienced. Physiotherapy is also great, but they need more equipment and personal. Not enough for the big demand. One very very bad thing is the food. It is managed by an external caterer who doesn't understand or care about the patients' needs. It was a terrible experience trying to get healthy food being this a hospital! This should change. There should be healthy diet offered to patients.

I had injured my back where I already had an old slip disc injury. Honestly speaking, I had never thought that Ayurveda could provide a viable treatment in such surgical cases. But Arya Vaidya Sala is full of people who suffer from similar ailments, many of them coming for repeat treatment and returning happy. Their staff is really well spoken and dedicated. Doctors make it a point to check on you regularly. Medicines are provided and changed as per your current condition. The facility itself has homely vibe with people from all over India and abroad staying there full time. The canteen provides simple but tasty food. The park is well maintained. The only thing you need to take into account is that you need to book your room well in advance, otherwise you'll have to take one of the general ward cabins.

It is popular for the effective treatment for in curable diseases, like neurological,immunodeficiency,paralysis, and muscle dystrophy.the staff and doctors are too generous and friendly, that you will feel your self in the home. The fees is very reasonable ,it has different categories of rooms and facilities to choose depending upon the changes. I didn't see anyone going disappointed after the treatment here.

Very nice aurvedic hospital and research center. Totally and truly aurvedic. Very pleasant stay and treatment experience. Very cooperative staff, very clean and calm premises. I was there for treatment of my relative. One star is kept aside for how long the effect of treatment lasts is to be observed. Must visit place for patients taking long term allopathic treatment. Advance booking 3-4 months needed.

I had head injury(cerebellum) six and half years back. Due to bike accident. Now I can able to walk, but not properly. I am having coordination or balance problem on my walk. Also I am unable to drive my bike again due to my balance problem on my walk. Ho w about head injury treat here? Because my English medicine treat is completely over. Still I didn't cured completely. Anyone who knows about head please comment your suggestions. Please be don't ignore this I will need to drive my bike again because I am in marketting...

This place is very serene. It is very conveniently located. I stayed in one of them huts, with air conditioning and attached treatment rooms. The doctors and everyone here are absolutely caring. The food and drinks in the canteen are overpriced. And they serve only vegetarian. But rest assured, I love the care that I've been getting. Highly recommended.
