A must visit place. This place is a true gem, with the cave stealing the show and the surrounding area adding to the magic. The small trail to the cave is very beautiful. It just approximately 450 meters walking distance from gate. Ticket price is rupees 50/- per person. Two entries are there. Normal trail & one rugged road which is a little difficult, must try both. Unique, bit scary and adventurous. The entire site is a testament to careful maintenance. Don't miss out on this enchanting experience!!

The road leading to the cave is a marvel in itself, meticulously crafted to enhance the overall experience. The entire site is a testament to careful maintenance; it's spotless and boasts picturesque views at every turn. As you explore the cave, you can't help but marvel at the fossils dating back millions of years - a humbling reminder of the brevity of our lives. A must visit place. You will get something different to see than waterfalls if you are in cherrapunji. Unique, bit scary and adventurous. It has a rugged and a pleasant way to reach the cave. We chose rugged one. See the uploaded video of rugged way from forest.

On the inside of the compound, there is restaurant, shops, pay and use toilets. Entry ticket is Rs. 100 per adults. The walk to the cave is amazing and extremely beautiful. You can hear birds chirping, watch a great view of the hills and underlying valley. At the time we went, it was covered by clouds. It's a different vibe walking through clouds. There are benches on the way and a park with benches, swing. During monsoon season you will be able to get a great view of waterfalls there. You can sit there and enjoy the view with your loved ones. The cave was formed due to erosion of limestones by the carbonic acid present in river over millions of years. Imprints of fossils of Gastropods are present on the wall. The floor is slippery at places, so be careful.

The cave is very deep. I think its length is more than a kilometer. Inside the cave is very chill. Sometimes water drips from the cave roof and we saw some bats flying inside the cave. There is electric light everywhere so there is no chance of getting lost. The moment you enter the cave it feels like you have entered hundreds and hundreds of years in the past.

Visited on 13.11.2023 Points:- Main gate entry fee= Rs. 20/- (per Two wheeler) Arwah Cave entry fee= Rs. 50/- (per person) Ultimate place to explore, viewpoint of Khasi Hills, Water falls There is two ways to reached the destination. (1) Off roading & (2) Normal way. Rest and sitting arrangement is there while you are walking. Cherrapunji is a land of waterfalls. Often you become bored and tired after exploring 2,3 waterfalls and there trekking. So that visit this cave after that. It will boost your confidence and joy. Cave structured is unique, different shape of limestone. Please be careful while you entering into the cave. Parking place is there. Shops are also there including one restaurant. Water is flowing inside the cave, be careful.
