It is the Prime place of Belgaum Karnataka India initially when Rani Parvati Devi arts and science commerce college started this was totally outside the Belgaum city so this corner was one important Landmark as it is close to Rani Parvati Devi Arts College now this is a prime traffic area as four roads that is Khanapur Road hindwadi road and tilakwadi Road they meet at this junction now traffic signals are fixed traffic is managed systematically and around this corner all types of shops and Street vendors you can find you have got good hotel restaurants Bakery shops computer centre etc all are around this point also we are got few colleges around this point

Non-stop traffic at the RPD, needs traffic management.. but the best place to visit to grab a quick snack (ours was a filled tummy lol) is Doughpaze! Delicious pizzas, pastries, donuts and what not! Absolutely loved it!! Probably a regular spot from now on..

It's a lively area.Take a walk on the crowded Deshmukh Rd and enjoy Vada paav and paav bhaji in so many outlets down the road.

This is a central place. As India and being Indian as can see the vehicles parked all over the road completely overtaking one lane. Hats off to educated and learned people who park their four wheelers in the middle of the road completely overtaking half of the road as if it is there personal parking space. .

Hotels, shoe shop, liquor everything available within walking distance. Traffic is maintained by traffic police and signal lights.

RPD CROSS IS A JUNCTION OF ROADS.. One Direction goes to Gogate College, GSS COLLEGE ,RPD COLLEGE HINDWADI RESIDENTIAL AREA, KLS HIGH SCHOOL, GOMTESH HIGH SCHOOL, VADGAON. ONE DIRECTION GOES TO TILAKWADI AREA, ONE DIRECTION GOES TO HARI MANDIR AND ANGOL

R.P.D corner is named after the college Rani Parvati Devi college of arts & commerce! Nothing special about the place its just a college corner where you can find lot of cafe including Pizza hut & Dominos.

Traffic management has improved, but there is 'no right turn' signal at Malusare Kirani corner. It is essential to avoid for vehicles entering RPD cross from 2nd cross Bhagyanagar. It should be made strictly one way for this 100 meters.
