It's an okay place for a short visit, but don't expect a grand waterfall experience. Good for a casual outing if you're in the area...
Need to walk 150 meters from the main road. Not a huge waterfall but good to visit with friends.
A small waterfall in a lovely location. * Monsoon is the time to visit if you need to see that small waterfall and if you want to bath there. * During summer seasons the water will be very low but you can hike through the water flowing path and the place really got a forest ambience ( adding some photos of that ). * A canal bridge is here and the water flows under it, the view for the waterfall from this bridge is amazing. * Malankara rubber estate is also situated here, it's so beautiful to walk through the estate, and it's a photogenic place too. ** Can see lot of plastic wastes of snacks and drinks , authorities must do something about it.
Peaceful place to relax in weekends. be safe with stones and slippery.
Good place. Walkable distance from main road. Be careful if you are planning to take a swim. Better to go in a group and avoid solo as you don't know when you need a help.
Awesome place to visit... Aruvikuthu is in Muttom - Thodupuzha road, Idukki district. Google maps shows a route which requires 200 m walking, which is a small trek. I visited the place in August. So, there was a lot of water and looked great. During the other times, there may not be enough water.
Its a nice experience and go without any high expectations. Such a calm and quite place with water sounds. Suggested to go in monsoon time
Just a wow place to visit with friends or a picnic trip with family. Avoid during rainy season as the level of water will be high and chances of accident is also high. A great view near water and also near forest. You can easily spend 1-2 hours.
