Arunachal Ashram(ar'unnaacl) - Hindu temple in Silchar, Tarapur Pt I - Cachar, India

This temple is more than 100 years old...calm and silent place...if you want to have peace of mind do visit here...

This place is called Swami Dayanand's Ashram, it has also a Kali Temple called Maa Anandamoyee Temple, plus one Shiva temple, one candel lighting place, one lotus with tulshi, one religious flag hoisting place, One prasad house,big one housing about 1000 people's at a time..which is used during festivals,plus one medium prasad house within the temple vicinity to house about 100 people's. This temple has a large cooking kitchen.. With distince rooms for female and devotees Annually during makar sangranti annual festival is held for 3 days. Today I visited this temple and felf amazing with the arrangements and facilities being provided to the common people's.

The place was very peaceful

This is Arunachal Ashram founded in 1909 by Sri Sri Thakur Day ananda Dev. He believed that there is only one universal religion.Idol of Maa Ananda moyee and Baba Arunachaleshar was set up by the founder himself.

Place was very peaceful and lovely. Whoever wants to spend some quality time please visit the place with your friends, Family or loved ones

It's a peaceful place.. Small temple with small village type shops... All over a ok type place.. Don't expect too much..

Its a kali mandir located at masimpur military station do visit here at the time of any major riligion event of india
