Beautiful temple. Must visit. We need to buy 5rs ticket per person to worship the god. Try not to carry eatables in hands. Monkeys at the top take it if you do it Don't forget to visit the 'Eagle Spot'. There are two ways to reach the top from bottom. Try using the right steps whis is easier than the left.

It is must visit Temple in our life time. You will be amazed by it's structure and Art. Should visit hill Temple to enjoy the nature. Monkey disturbance is much in hill temple so keep safe of your belongings.

Great scenic experience on the top. Old people, folks with heart disease and folks with ortho issues avoid visiting this temple. Only 500 steps, but very very steep. No rush in the temple. Monkeys are there on the top, FYI. Entry fee Rs2 as on Oct 08 2023.

Divine place to visit. Great vibration. Can reach through steps. Hardly it takes 20min to climb. Middle portion of steps are steap.... Too many money's...do not have eye contact..do not feed them..

Visited 2nd time and this time reached top of the hill and had a darshanam of lord Shiva. Had to buy tickets and it was Rs. 2/- for each on aMonday and a weekday it was.

The Thirukazhikundram vedagirishwarar temple was and is famous for the vultures that would visit this temple. A steep climb up of 100s of stairs only getting steeper. but yes you can do it! carry some water and sugar based snacks in case you get light headed on the way up. I went on an empty stomach without water only to nearly faint at the top! there is an entry fee of 2 rs. Had a wonderful darshan of lord shiva inside a small shrine at the peak. Lot of monkeys at the top so avoid carrying any food openly while entering the main shrine. While climbing up you will see two paths - choose left. similarly while reaching the top you will see a path on the left and the way to the main shrine is right. Choose to descend on the same path u came up! The view from the top is just breathtaking. Hope chennai and its surroundings remain the same for years to come.

Beautiful old shiva temple must visit both the temples parking in this place is very tight.
