This Temple is one of its kind,Unique. Entering the temple you can feel the positive vibe. Most of the days it will be crowded. Spending time inside the temple you can feel the positivity. Near from Maathuthavani bus stand. History and Belief makes this temple a must visit place when you are in Madurai. Car parking will be a tedious job finding parking in road side.. Temple trustee / Management should improve the infrastructure to do service to the devotees..,

As part of my madurai visit I have visited this temple on 03.12.2023 and worshiped. Family God for the sorrunding Village people. Always crowded with devotees. It took three hours for me to have a dharsan of this god. Energetic and vibrant temple. Offering of goats ,cocks are available in the temple inside. Annadhanam is also offered here in the noon time. The poojari is very kind enough to attend the devotees.

Most famous temple in Madurai This temple is called as Kaaval Theivam ( which means the God protect the people from Evils) People whom affected from more devotion here they will get relief from celestial powers and get good reunion with human beings. God Statue is very impressive and makes the devotees to feel very powerful. In Tamil Calendar a month called Aadi ( duration of one month began on June and ended on July ) is most famous month around 1 km radius area devotees filled & most crowed during this period . This temple represents the hope for all villages of Tamil Nadu for being as Kaaval Theivam. & Kidavettu is most famous here. I felt good experience here Must visit this temple to get powerful experience

In Madurai if u called a name Pandi atleast 5out of10 will respond. Most of them named as Pandi and it's Pandiya Kingdom still we believe in behalf of Them Amma Meenakshi rule the kingdom. As a Temple City of World this temple also one of them. Madurai Meenakshi, Madurai Pandi Koil, Madurai Alagar koil. Still lot but this three are important ones.
