Arulmigu Sri Lakshmi Hayagriva Temple - Featured Reviews (1280)
Went here on a Muhurta nal and the crowd was what you'd expect - huge! Amenities are barely existent. A typical south Indian temple experience.
Shri Lakshmi Hayagreevar temple in Thiruvandipuram, about 6 kms from Cuddalore bus stand, is just opposite Shri Devanatha Perumal temple. The temple is on a small hillock about 60 steps climb. The main deity is Shri Hayagreevar (horse headed Avatar of Lord Shri Vishnu) with Shri Lakshmi on his lap. Shri Hayagreevar is revered and worshipped as Lord of education and wisdom.
The temple is situated in a slightly hill like area and you can see lot of students there because board exam written students were pray in the temple to write the exam well and the god is portrayed for education
it is one of the best places to be visited in your lifetime. parking is available for both two wheelers and also for four wheelers. you get a positive feeling when you have visited this temple. and it is so true to its word. it is also one of the ancient temples built. cleanliness is also maintained here. people are little friendly also.
Must visit for tranquility. A shot climb which is all worth it for all ages as the breeze that treats you irrespective of the season is priceless/divine.
Parking spaces are plentiful. Both below and above the hill are temples. Every afternoon, they are also offering "Annadhanam," although the number of entries is limited. Elderly people may find it challenging because there are roughly 70-80 rather steep steps. Because there aren't many stores in the area, bring food with you in case it becomes late. The temple is open from nine to twelve. The temple below might look little from the front, but once you enter it, it extends endlessly. As a result, choose your timing carefully.
One of the 108Divyadesam
Very pleasant place..
Timing 6am - 12am. & 4pm-8pm
Better taking Cuddalore road
We can perform archanai with elachi garland (41),Kalkandu,Honey,Pen,paper.
Good place. Prayer to get good marks in education. They offer pen and pencil to Lord and return back after prayer.
