Very famous temple in chennai.all new and old vehicles will come for pooja. Go in early morning so less crowded I use to visit this temple once in ya year
This is a famous temple in chennai, pallavan road. When people buy their new vehicle, they come here to do the first pooja. My parents visit this temple every time they travel out of city or buy a new vehicle. People believe that the muneeswarar save them from the dangerous hazards. But I cannot the accept the charges they ask for buying the pooja items which they sold for 450 rupees per bag. Also, for the rituals, they ask for more tip money.

It is commonly known that this temple performs poojas for recently purchased vehicles (2/4 wheelers)... There is a strong belief that this particular god would protect the car and us if we do pooja here. However, they just had us wait for around 30 minutes in a large queue. But if you ask me, the experience was alright. Even those with the special ticket were forced to wait on the side of the main road in the sweltering sun.
