This Vinayakar is powerful and bless your wishes realised. My visits are innumerable many years before spiritual as well as literary discourses took place and I attended them. Nowadays it is taking place or not but it has almost become marriage blessing vinayakar because all the married couple visit this Vinayakar because marriage halls around this temple. Marriage fixing ceremonies take place every now and then. The temple almost become one of the land marks of Udumalpet. Prasanna Vinayakar temple is located 75 meters away from the NH to Pazhani and 1 km before the Udumalai busstand. The temple has deities of Vinayakar, Vishalakshi sametha Viswanathar, Aandal, Durga, Subramanyar, Perumal, Nadarajar, Aanjaneyar, KalaBairavar, Chandikeswarar and Brahma.There is Vanni marathadi Vinayakar with naagas. Pouring water at the base of this tree is a special feature here.
