Temple was Neat and Clean after Renovation. Temple Timings:- (Image Attached) 6:00 A.M to 1:00 P.M 3:00 P.M to 9:00 P.M Direct buses available from Thiruvarur New Bus Stand. Morning Bus Timings: - 8:15 Govt Bus 8:30 Private Bus A13 Bus available from Nagapattinam Bus Stand, though frequency is very less. Toilet facility available at the side road, didn't use it and hence can't comment on it. No Stay options available. Few shops & small hotels available at the entrance.

The temple is more than 1000 yrs old. The head of the peacock in all Murugan temples is seen facing the right side. However, in Ettukudi, it is seen facing the left. A Siddhar known as Vanmeeka attained samathi here. There is a separate idol of Lord Shani beside the navagraha.
