Arulmigu Chakrapani Swami Temple - Hindu temple in Kumbakonam - Thanjavur, India

We visited this temple late in the evening. Very blessed to have the darshan of Lord Vishnu very near like in Sarangapani temple. The style adopted also like in Sarangapani have to take darshanam from rear entry. The centuries only Mandapams beautifully carved sculptures are very amazing. Very spacious complex. Though located in a busy place, inside it is very peaceful. Both Swamy and Amman are in elevated Mandapams. Good place around the temple.

Chakrapani Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to God Vishnu located in Kumbakonam. Beautiful and peaceful and big temple. To see the main deity, there are only two entry doors one in the north direction and one in the South direction and south soor is available during the Uttarayana time,because the lord surya bhagavan got the moksha here. Thehe North door is open for regular darshan Mahalaxmi darsham ia must Make sure that you must visit the temple befor 1:00 pm or after 4:00 in the evening

Best temple dedicate to Lords vishnu. Nice and clean temple. Visiting time from morning 0500 to 1200 and 1600 to 2000 hrs
