Everything about this house speaks history. If you want a flavor of Portuguese Goa, this quaint little house gives you just that. The sloping roofs, rustic doors and windows, antique furniture and local food complete the experience. Above all, it's the lovely hostess who really steals the show. Felt absolutely at home with my husband and 4 year old.

A great place to stay. It has all the amenities you want from your own house. The kitchen is especially well stocked. There is a well in the verandah outside. Cons: beware of frogs visiting your rooms and the bathroom. Also the place is on the main road and therefore quite noisy during the day.

Artisanale offers an access to live in old Portuguese house, tastefully decorated with heirloom antique elements and furniture peculiar to Goa, across some of the finest and diverse locations in Goa. The Saligao property is even better than the pictures, and it offers easy access to the beaches and happening places of North Goa yet is a little away from the tourist area in a heritage village of Goa with grocery stores, medical store and ATMs in vicinity. The villa is well maintained and equipped with almost everything a home would have, and beyond. The little sit-out space outside is perfect for an early morning yoga session or late evening hangout. Yshana is a one of the best hosts we have come across till date, always available for any support you would need during your stay. She goes out of her way to help her guests to have a comfortable stay. Darshan, the help you will meet at the property is a kind and happy lady, very sincere with her work. She was waiting for us at the property with a cheerful smile and a sumptuous meal ,which we did not expect, on our arrival. She prepared local dishes for us and also invited us to her place for a meal. Overall, we could not have asked for anything more and our stay at the property will always bring smile on our faces whenever we think of it. We strongly recommend Artisanale.
