Arthigamya Spa & Resort - Hotel in Gokarna - Uttara Kannada, India

I would never recommend this resort to anyone. Please don't be fooled by the photos and ratings like i was. Cons - 1. There were tons of mosquitoes inside the room and they don't have a proper way to control this other than lighting mosquito coils. Which you'll never expect from a 3 star resort. 2. There is no room service at this resort, you have to walk 5 mins to get to the restaurant. 3. There was a huge lizard in our room which was so noisy. The staff could not help us with this issue. We just had to put up with it. 4. There isn't a telephone in the room to reach reception. They have a mobile number stuck on the door so you have to make the call from your own phone. 5. They do not provide with basic toiletries until you call them and request for it. 6. The walls in the room are chapped and damaged, people hang their clothes to dry on the sidewalks of the resort. The property is so poorly maintained that it doesn't even qualify as a 2 star hotel. 7. The food was bad too. Ordered a sandwich and they served stale French fries on the side that were literally cold and when I told the waitress she didn't bother to get it changed. Overall, I spent 9k for a night on a resort that isn't even worth 2k.

Please don't waste your money on this resort. This is worst resort I visited in my life. Room's AC is not working properly. Swimming pool is also not in working mode. We especially booked this resort for swimming pool but they don't said anything. Room cleaner staff mistakenly stolen my Brush. Room service for food is not available.

Uncleaned rooms. Swimming pools are out of service. Room lockers are not available. The towels provided by the hotel were disgusting. Used towels were provided. International socket not available in the room. Curtains of rooms and bathroom are torn. No intercom system is available We have to call on the mobile number of Staff for room services. The car hire services recommended by the hotel is charging double rate than the market price and the cabe provided by them is also not up to the mark as well.

The resort location is good but maintained very badly. The rooms have broken windows and leaky taps. The rooms have a high step making it uncomfortable for senior citizens. The damp murky smell in the room adds to the unpleasant feel. Feel absolutely let down.

The resort is beautiful but maintained poorly. Resort is reasonable with swimming pool and spacious rooms. But The rooms interiors are all broken and the bath tub was very dirty and broken it needs to be maintained. Otherwise location is good , food was good but lil bit expensive. The restaurant is 100 mtrs from resort and it next to the beach, this is the biggest advantage of this resort.
