Art Gallery, S State Museum, - Museum in Hyderabad - default, India

Small museum located inside the public gardens. It has a mummy and a Buddhist relic; but most people are not aware of it! If publicised, I am sure lot of tourists from even abroad would line up.

Good place, n collection. Time well spent. 30mins to 1 hour would be ample time. When I visited their was power cut, and couldn't spend much time. No power back up

It is good to watch. entry fee is nominal. camera charges are Rs50/-. One Egyptian mummy and a Chariot kept here is must see. 1-2hrs are sufficient to watch the complete muesume.

State Archaeological Museum The state museum is surrounded lovely green garden which makes the place more attractive. Exquisite artifacts and antiques are professionally displayed. There is a Buddhist gallery which is a must visit.

This was my second visit to state Museum I hav'nt seen any changes,and maintenance of the museum had moved down guiders are irresponsible about the visitors and even the maintenance of old things and crafts are not in good position ,but this place visit helps us to improve our knowledge in sculptures,crafts of ancient Andhra Pradesh (now Telangana,A.P) and a special thing here to see is a Mummy which is from Egypt.

They should really maintain the place better. Such wonderful heritage and culture we have, wish more people could understand that

Good maintenance of old monument & collection, especially Egyptian mummy is great to see

Heritage bronze statues and nothing else. That too most of them were acquired from Andhra.
