Arpita Beach Resort - Hotel in Chandipur - Baleshwar, India

Rooms were really nice. Food was also good, but only lunch and dinner. The food which was complimentary with booking, that means breakfast, was hilarious... I had complimentary breakfast option before several times.... Some basic things are there in every complimentary breakfast, i.e bread, jam , butter, corn flakes, milk, fruit juice, cut fruits. These are the basic options in any buffet breakfast... But unfortunately these were missing... Rest of the food was very average in taste... They don't have a minimum steel spoon or fork option..they give you plastic spoon and fork, that's also very small in size.. and I'm quite sure about it that the chef who prepare breakfast, the one who prepare paid meals are totally different. Paid meals were really good. Room service experience for my parents was not good. Overall it's really an average option for stay

The hotel is okay. But a few area needs significant improvement. Toilet commode needs to be fixed. Bed linens were torn. Over all service quality is very good. Food quality was also good. But bit expensive. Location is okay. But no way you can see the sea from the hotel. You have to walk 400-500 meters to reach the seashore. That approach road is not good for old people. Better you go by car to main beach. As a overall its nice stay. We enjoyed.

Beautiful comfortable rooms, very friendly staffs and the food quality was awesome. Very nice ambience with neat and clean pool facility. One of the best properties of Chandipur. Beach is really at stone's throw distance.

Hotel is far from beach but has a short cut road to beach which is not so well-maintained road. Food quality was good but little bit expensive. Breakfast buffet was not so good with respect to the price. For any kind of room service, you have to call them three or four times. Intercom for room service was not answered sometimes. During the booking time one executive room was allotted to ground floor which we thought was good as we have three senior citizens, but they gave us room on the second floor only. Overall average stay.

Went with a big family group of 12, had a lovely time. Clean nice rooms, wonderful food, warm service, small but lovely swimming pool... nice all the way. But I should mention that the sea is not visible from here.

Had been here in this resort for two days, I have been really pleased with their welcoming. Staff behavior is really nice. The food here was so tasty and reasonable. Along with clean rooms, what we loved the most is the Swimming pool. We enjoyed a Lott with our family members. There are facilities like gym as told, but it was not reopen at the time of our stay. But in 3 star hotel, we didn't get shaving kit and slippers, which I felt like some minus points. But overall the place Is soooo good. I would highly recommend this place from my end. Have a great stay.

The only true surprise of staying at Arpita Beach Resorts is why is the average rating at 4.6. It should have easily been a 2. This surprise comes after a series of small surprises after one another. To start with, this is not a beach resort, its far from the beach with no clear signs or connections to the beach. Its at 300m to 1.3 km away from the hotel - really depends on who you ask. The hotel staff is apathetic and dismissive from the start. There is no functional elevator in the hotel. We had a "Presidential Suite" on the 4th floor. For 11k a night, the AC started spitting chunks of ice in the middle and went dud for over an hour. The interiors are decently clean, mildly shabby and functionally comfortable. There is limited views and mostly 2 windows. Anything you ask for, a spoon or a blanket - you have to ask a minimum of 3 times. The breakfast hall was one building away. And the food was quite substandard. And the service and cleanliness was generally apalling. The only thing that was possible okay was the crab. Maybe that deserved a 4. Dinner was decent. Anyway the general rating is a surprise.

Highly recommended stay in Chandipur, though it's not very near to the beach. Food is high priced but quantity is sufficient. Rooms & bathrooms were roughly clean. Some electricity issues were there due to heavy rain. Moreover service was good.
