Ariyannur Stone Umbrellas (Kudakallu) - Museum in Alur - Thrissur, India

An archeological site close to Guruvayoor, a short detour from Guruvayoor -Thrissur road. No tickets. Not visited by many. Now managed by ASI

This remainings are so precious and the archaeological survey of india preserved it well. There are 6 umbrella stones out of which 4 were having no complaints at all. These are from great stone age and worth seeing. Not a having anything as great attraction but for the history lovers its a great treasure.

If you are interested in visiting historical monuments then this place worth a visit. Its near to Ariyannur Harikanyaka temple and on the way from Thrissur - Guruvayur. The 'umbrella stones' otherwise called as 'Kudakallu' in Malayalam has huge 8 meters circumference. umbrella stones look beautiful with green moss during the end of monsoon season. There is nothing else you can do here except taking the photos. Note - due to Covid 19, the place is not open these days.

It is a megalithic site located near ariyannur harikanyaka temple in ariyannur village, trissur district, Kerala. The site is famous for megalithic monuments especially umbrella stones. There are totally 5 umbrella stones without any damages can be found

This is an archeological site and a must visit if you are interested in history and archaeology. These ancient memorials are well maintained and protected here.

A megalithic historic site, a little hard to find, but can always check with locals. There are altogether 6 structures out of which 4 is intact. The area is fenced by ASI, and its a protected monument.
