Nice area for children and adults to bath in the river
This place is near cheranmahadevi and it's quite not a popular one, but it's really a must visit place. Only the locals around those area used to visit this place. People do fishing here and they sale those fishes too. Few snaps of those attached here. Driving towards check dam from main road needs more attention and please avoid travelling while raining.
It will be really beautiful if the water overflow through the dam, otherwise looks really normal one. And will be slippery so careful with the step and take care of the kids.. some of the places may be more dept (6-10ft) not much still a sudden depth may cause nervous. And aware of the drunken guys, especially for the couples.
There are many people from the towns around this dam and we are one of them.
Was superb. Place for parking vehicle is not many. Not a tourist spot. Not suitable for nights. Safe to take bath when water is less. Need little caution with children.
Checkpost was not strict. It was only made on barricades But checkpost to mukkudal road in village centre turning point police was stop and checking

An underrated tourist spot, must go place to enjoy your time with friends and families.
