Ariya Jyothi Vegetarian Restaurant - Featured Reviews (2921)
Ariya Jyothi Vegetarian Restaurant located in Pattom, and my experience was a mixed bag. I decided to try their poori and coffee, and unfortunately, they fell short of expectations. The poori and curry were average in terms of taste and presentation, failing to leave a lasting impression. One noticeable aspect of the restaurant was its location in a prime area. However, despite the advantageous position, it was surprising to find that the restaurant was not bustling with customers during my visit. In fact, I was the lone customer present, which could be attributed to the restaurant's lackluster ambiance and overall maintenance. On a positive note, the service at Ariya Jyothi was quick and efficient. Despite the lack of customers, the staff provided attentive service and ensured that my needs were promptly addressed. However, there is definite room for improvement when it comes to the restaurant's cleanliness and overall atmosphere. The wash area, in particular, could benefit from better upkeep. In summary, my dining experience at Ariya Jyothi Vegetarian Restaurant was a bit underwhelming. While the quick service was a highlight, the average taste of the poori and curry, coupled with the lack of ambiance and cleanliness, left much to be desired. It's worth noting that the restaurant's prime location and easy accessibility may be appealing to some, but for a truly satisfying dining experience, one may need to explore other options in the area.
Tamilian Vegeterian restaurent near pattom. AC and Non-AC dinning areas are available. Non-Ac hall has around 13 tables x 4 chairs each per table Ac Hall has around 8 tables x 4 seatings each per table Non dedicated parkung areas. But can use on-road paid parking. No wheel chair access.
This restaurant is diagonally opposite Indroyal furniture showroom in Pattom, Trivandrum. A vegetarian restaurant. We went there for lunch. It was almost full. Ordered thali meals. The side dishes/ curries were not that tasty. Just because we were hungry we had it. Service was ok. Not too pricey. Parking is very difficult near the restaurant.
Stopped by this place one morning to buy breakfast. We ordered Idlis, Vada and Ghee Dosa which came packed with ample quantities of sambar and coconut chutney. A plate of idli contains three pieces and are fairly large in size. The dosas were absolutely delicious and crisp, and the vada with coconut chutney was lip-smacking. The immediate space after entry has about a dozen tables and can feel a little crowded, especially when all tables are occupied. However, service is fast and the wait staff are attentive. Note that as the restaurant is right by the road, and without dedicated parking, it can be a bit of a hassle to find parking space.
Food was ok. They only serve veg. Dosa batter was bit sour. We've tried masala dosa, Puri bhaji, medu wada, maysore masala dosa and filter coffee. Filter coffee is very good.
Very customer friendly and fast service. Only downside : not wheelchair accessible place and bit crowded place at the front section. Rate are moderate and food is tasty.
Poori was tasty, but Hygiene of the restaurant is doubtful. Doas was not crisp at all as said in other reviews. For the cost Service is also poor.
When me and my partner lived in Trivandrum this was our favourite place to eat. So affordable, so tasty and the service was always quick. We loved it here!
