Nice stretch of 7kms beach on either side of the road. Very pleasant views of sunset. The last point is a circular platform which will be very crowded, especially on weekends. While reviews say the place closed by 5PM, i think they are taking about entrance to the round platform. The beach road is accessible anytime.
What a divine place.... Words can not explain the feel... Go in the early morning and enjoy the awesome sunrise view... Do not go in dark as on the way there are no road light and there is a long path of approx 10km in the jungle...
Dhanushkodi beach is a must visit. The drive to the beach is absolutely stunning and scenic. The road with the seas on both sides - Bay of Bengal to the left and Indian Ocean on the right offers a mesmerizing view. It is the end point of India. There are no shops nearby, so make sure to carry food if you plan to stay longer. As the sun sets in, the town true to its name is also seen - the ghost town
Known as the end point or last land of India. The place is heavenly. If you are coming during weekends or holidays it's better to come early morning to avoid the rush hours. Before entering Dhanushkodi they will take Rs20 as entry fee in the check point and you should not throw plastic items here
Beautiful place. Can't explain how much I liked the view. The place looks beautiful. Approximately 25 km drive from Rameswaram. The beaches on both sides of the road are very clean. The end point of the Indian mainland in East. It's got a great view, very peaceful and tranquil place to enjoy. The color of the sea has been just awe.
This Place is the last road of India and from this very place Srilanka is only 40 Km, through the Sea route. Must visit this place you will love to see one side of the Indian Ocean and one side Bay of Bengal at the same time. If you have a drone for the camera you must take the best shots.
Amazing place. Two oceans meeting point. One is calm and one is full of storm. Crowdy parking space issue at evening time. Try to visit in morning hours.. Evening time wind blown very fast with sand..
Wow.. What a place to visit. Tip end of India. The sea looks beautiful.. Every thing else other than parking is very good.. No Parking Management. On a double road, the vehicle has to take a "U" turn at the end of the road before the Baracade. Better to park much before and walk some distance.
One of the beautiful places of India. Driving on the road covered by the sea on both sides is a mesmerising experience. The government had a taken wonderful effort to make this place accessible for public and now the people's responsible to keep this
Amazing feel. Thanks namo to bring this point access to public.... Only people who attempted to visit before this place would appreciate! Now yes a must visit when u r visiting island.
Quite beautiful and serene beach. It is quite crowded towards the end of the road, but it is worth spending time to see either the sunrise or sunset along with your family. The weather here can be really harsh during the daytime, so it is recommende
Dhanushkodi, in my point of view, is an enchanting destination that offers a mesmerizing blend of history, spirituality, and natural beauty. As I stood at the tip of this ghost town, I was captivated by the remnants of its glorious past. The dilapida
Very nice and calm on one side and waves are strong on other side, must watch place and it's very relaxing place for mind but bit sunny so prefer in morning or evening, its end of India and must watch place and carry enough water with you. if you vi
