A little but lovely waterfall you can visit with family and homies

A small water falls found near to anjarakkandy..do not go there when it is not rainy season..And it's not good when there is too crowded because it's a very small place..And the way to reach the falls it too narrow and slippery rocks..we have to keep our vehicle just into the road side..there is no parking place.. totally an avarage place to visit friends and family

It's a very good experience visiting areekkal during monsoon season. There is no entry fee or checking kinda things. Freely accessible for 24x7. It seems to be no dangers related to this warerfalls since no accident newses are there related to this area. But always care yourself and when you're with children, because there is no other guards or other equipments

Don't ever visit after rainy season., no single drop of water would be there. Whereas kappimala has still good amount of water

Beautiful waterfalls, but very crowded during weekends and holidays. People coming there are unruly and litters the place with plastic covers bottles and left over food. Seeing that you really don't feel like going down to the waterfalls. I wish visitors and authorities would take more care to preserve the beauty of the place.

I went to this place on December 6th 2020. There is no parking spot for this place. You will have to park your vehicle at the roadside at your own risk. The roads leading to this place is very good. The entrance is narrow, you may even become confused thinking whether it really is the entrance. Narrow slippery rocky paths leading to the waterfall. It is a small waterfall. Do not go if the season is not rainy. I went in winter month and there was no water. There is only a small space to stay under the waterfall. So it will not be any fun at all when it is crowded. Weekdays are recommended for this destination. Overall, Average place to go with friends during the rainy season. No water at other seasons. Recommended for locals just looking for a nature bath.
