Areekal waterfalls - Tourist attraction in Piravom - Ernakulam, India

A well-maintained waterfall that is perfect for a day out with family and friends. Went in with no expectations. But it was so good. This place has separate toilets and dress-changing facilities for gents and ladies. There is a toddy shop nearby and a snack counter inside the property. A paid parking space is also nearby. Entry fees: 20/-

Great place to hangout with family. Went in with no expectations. But surprisingly good. Went in a weekday therefore there was no crowd at all and so explored the place to its fullest. I felt safe for babies also my daughter had a blast there spend till the sun down. This place has a better toilet and dress changing facilities. The food options are limited nearby better to have it from the town itself. Nearby there is a toddy shop and a bakery which serves food but the options are limited such as appam, Kappa, beef, pork, fish etc.

Beautiful waterfalls .Entry fee is 20 rs. We can see the waterfalls near and even can spent time on water and under waterfalls.There is changing room for men n women.Very neatly maintained.If just for sightseeing ,we may have to spend 15 to 30 mins to enjoy the waterfalls and take photos .

A very crowded place. The flow was less when I visited. There is an entry fee of Rs. 40. There are 2 entry and exit points. Multiple flight of stairs will take you down to the falls where you can enter the water and also which is a safe place to enter. You can find a refreshment stall at the end of the stairs. There is a paid parking space and also you can park on the road side.

Moderately big waterfalls, with beautiful views and spots to wet your feet or even bath. Has well maintained steps leading to the spot. The area is well equipped with a small tea shop, toilets , changing rooms, sitting spaces and trash cans. The place was moderately packed when I visited.

Beautiful waterfall Good for refreshment.. must visit place in Piravom, It is also safe for family and friends for bathing. The best time to visit here is monsoon. The ticket charge is 20rs per person. The main highlight is it's not a crowded tourist place.
