Areca veg restaurant , lodge and bar and restaurant - Restaurant in Channagiri - Davangere, India

Had stopped for quick breakfast and fresh up before heading to our Muliyangiri Hills trip. I ordered benne Masala Dosa, Kesari bath, wada and coffee. It was good.

Not a Hotel to recommend. If there was an option of negative rating, this Hotel deserves it. 1. The staff is not well behaved 2. After paying advance & confirming the room. They argued for not providing the room 3. Room was in bad condition, not cleaned . If we asked, they replied saying, "You are not only the customer for us. You can vacate if needed, we have 10 customers in waiting list 4. No Hot water from Geyser 5. During payment also issue, they are asking for cash in morning at 6:30am & didn't accept online payment 6. Overall very bad experience & cannot recommend to new customers

Very worst experience with the quality and taste of food, we can get better taste in reasonable price in small hotels also, but taste of South meals in this hotel is very worst , they have made rasam in beetroot's left over juice, it's the most worst rasam I seen, and chapathis are very thick and rough , apart from rice, kesaribath, buttermilk all other food items was poor in taste, we can't able to eat the food , loss of money and most importantly staff's communication is very poor and very negligency, please improve the taste and quality of food, please don't waste the money of costumers, train the staff properly , over all bad experience with the quality and taste of the Areca veg Hotel

I recently dined at your restaurant and wanted to provide some feedback regarding the taste of the food. While I appreciate the effort put into the preparation, I must admit that I found the taste to be below my expectations. I believe it's important to share my experience so that you can continue to improve the quality of your dishes.

As I had a personal work at Channagiri , We had come to Channagiri for two days(17th and 18th). By the time we reached here it was around 10:30pm . We were in search of good dinner. Channagiri was almost shut for the day. As we enquired people for a good food at Channagiri, they suggested a name - "ARECA VEG Restaurant". It was the only hotel open at that time and we had to go there. We asked for South Indian meal but they said South Indian food gets closed by 8pm. Later on they serve only North Indian food if customers are available. We ordered for North Indian meal(i.e. Roti, paneer butter masala, ARECA special veg curry, ghee rice, Areca special mughalai biryani,). They served us hot food with good taste . Hotels' ambience was good. It was very neat clean n tidy. We had night dinner, morning breakfast and afternoon lunch. Food quality is "GOOD" ,food quantity is "appetite filling". If you visit once you will definitely come again and again. So do come to taste good food.

Decent vegetarian restaurant to stop by near channagiri .. Gobi Manchurian was nice .. veg biriyani is not that great.. sambar is not served with dosa items for breakfast .

The best restaurant in channagiri.today I went with my family we bought veg soup, masala papad, mushroom pepper dry (very.. good) Hyderabadi biryani,palak paneer,and icecreams. Hyderabadi biryani was delicious..you will get chats also.. interior was good.overall very good experience.price was very affordable..
