Home away from Home Firstly thank you Aunty for the healthy homely food. I feel so happy that i found a place which provide homely atmosphere and homely food. If i didn't write this one, this will a disrespect towards the hostel. I stayed more than 1 year in this hostel Very secure and safe. I can surely say that the best hostel i have stayed in for so long. This location is also convenient for every people. Finally hats off to her for always maintaining the hostel clean and tidy.

I really had great experience. Its really safe and secure for ladies. Healthy food ,friendly atmosphere , neat rooms and the best part is its in the middle of panampilly nagar with in affordable price. Thanks aunty for the care

Please read this before going here I had called the lady here to enquire about the hostel and I had asked her many times to share pictures of room but she told me she can't share it and also many other reasons and asked me to pay an advance of rs500 she was talking in such a convincing way.I felt something fishy about it and i decided to go there and check the place and then pay the advance.Believe me this place is soo bad that you can't even live here for a month.She speaks so confidently about the place but it is so unsafe .No basic facilities including a clean bathroom or a nice bed or pillow etc very suffocating.About food i don't know because I didn't stay there.All bathrooms were kept locked and she was hesitant to open and show me (all bathrooms locked with keys,who will lock washrooms with a key which is in a regular use) but i made her open at last it was a big mess inside same like a railway station bathroom.And i understood why they didn't share me pictures and also why their google location doesn't provide any pics of rooms and bathrooms.I didn't get any other option as I couldn't find a place meanwhile I gave her an advance of 500rs and i thought I will shift after staying for a month so that I can enquire also about nearby hostels but I left that and joined a nearby hostel for 5500 because i was sure that I can't stay here for a month too.The lady was stinking with fish smell and she was so unclean.Only thing is that the rent is below 5500 and the location is good but believe me you will get many hostels in the surrounding of you enquire even though it might be 200,500 rs extra you can stay in a good clean healthy place.I can't put this review here without even putting a star only because of that I'm giving a 1star.This is a very honest review I had stayed in many hostels including in Kottayam Bangalore mangalore etc but I never saw one like ARCHANA HOMESTAY .

Stayed here for around 1 month. From my experience I can undoubtedly say that this is the best ladies hostel around Panampillynagar area, considering its easy accessibility and facilities offered. Neat and clean place, very well maintained and their food menu is remarkable too. And I should really appreciate the warden aunty . She is very friendly and caring. This hostel is the first choice I would suggest for anyone looking for a safe and comfortable stay around Panampillynagar area. Highly recommended to all Thank you Archana homestay for all

I have been staying here for more than a week and I can confidently say that it's a pretty great place to stay along with homely food. I had checked for pgs in both panampilly and kadavanthara and this was the only hygienic and spacious one I could find. There are no unreasonable restrictions; you can conveniently go home on weekends and even if your shift timings are late, all you have to do is inform the warden. She is a pretty sweet lady who helped me settle down as I am staying in Kochi for the first time.

I had been to Ernakulam for a very short period of time and utilized an online platform to select a PG accommodation based on its favorable feedback. Frankly, I am uncertain about the basis of such positive reviews. Nevertheless, I shall proceed to enumerate the merits and demerits of this PG. The PG has only two benefits: its convenient location in the main locality, easy accessibility, and the commendable quality of the home-cooked food provided by them. There are several issues that require attention with regard to the drawbacks of this PG. Firstly, the warden's conduct towards the tenants is unacceptable, as she consistently exhibits rude and verbally abusive behavior. Additionally, the water supply is inadequate, resulting in insufficient water for bathing and washing clothes. The warden prohibits bathing after 10:00 p.m., and in the event that the water runs out, she will not switch on the motor. In one particular instance, the warden even knocked on the bathroom door to caution me against using water. Furthermore, the toilet facilities are unhygienic and infested with various reptiles. The dormitory room where I resided was small, accommodating six individuals with no suitable storage spaces. Moreover, the room had an unsatisfactorily resolved bed bug infestation, which led us sleeping on the floor. Despite filing a complaint, the warden accused us of bringing in the bed bugs from outside. Due to a wooden partition separating the room, there was a lack of privacy and poor ventilation, which resulted in suffocation. The warden also interfered excessively in all aspects of our daily lives, dictating when we should bathe and other routine activities. Lastly, the warden charged an additional fee of 500 rupees, referred to as an admission fee, which was meant to be refunded upon leaving the PG. However, she implemented a rule that only who stayed in the PG for over six months would be eligible for the refund, which appeared to be an unlikely possibility. ( Maybe she's sure that nobody will stay there more than a month ) On the final day, the warden dumped all of our luggage in the center of the room which was the worst part of all the above.

I just went there to see the rooms.. I felt like they were being too rude with the inmates.. They would do the same with me as well. Rooms were really small and untidy and they don't provide any cupboards.. They separated the rooms with a ply wood.which don't have a proper roofing.moreover, i asked some inmates about the food and they said it's worse. Idk how they get the review. Maybe they are making accounts with different names and posting positive reviews. Plz never go there its the worst place ever
