Archaeological Museum - Museum in Nalgonda - Nalgonda, India

A little but quite informative Museum. Do visit if you are going to see the Chaya Someshwaralayam, Pacchala Someshwaralayam and Venkateshwaraswamy Temple. Ticket only Rs 10/- per person.

Archaeological museum at Nalgonda back side of ancient panchala someshwara temple, a lot of ancient sculpture idols of the god from Hinduism Buddhism and Jainism are on display here, mostly made from stones, visiting this shall give you idea about the life and belief system of people of Telangana in past, shall take approximately 60/100 mins to see all carefully, enjoyed

It's a great museum with good collection. Must visit if you want to see a wide range of temple carvings , staturus and shasanas , majority of which are archaeological remenent of paanugallu .

Lovely old relics from the 10th -15th centuries. The museum garden is beautiful. The museum itself is closed on Fridays, so we couldn't see the inner rooms. But definitely worth a visit just for the lovely sculptures in the garden.

Good and more informative inception. A brief history of KAKATIYA DYNASTY . I REALLY LOVED IT

Contains most of the unknown monuments and the exciting thing here is they have collection of Telugu scripts from the ages ..

Wish the place had a proper guide, took some pics and slowly fantasised to live in that era and those beautiful jewellery and those stunning weapons. Clay vessels finely crafted ergonomic designs were baffeling me, yes ! It was an era worth floating in to.

If only the artifacts had some English translation along with Telegu, it would have been nice.
