Best hospital for cataract surgery. Patients were treated with utmost care. Attenders were shown videos of how to take care of the patients post surgery. During the waiting time of surgery , attenders were taken for nature walk. Time was spent usefully and the person who took us for nature walk explained in detail about medicinal plants, solar power system, water treatment plant, rain water harvesting which are in the hospital premises

Well care and homely. Nice explanation about use of various medicinal trees and plants. Purification of wastewater plant and use of purified water etc Fire emergency exit of patients .

I was taken on a 30 minute tour to have a look at medicinal herbs plants and trees. Very useful information. The water plant was the best - how waste water is collected and purified. Maintenance and cleanliness gets an A+ from me. Thank you. Good job!

Outpatient registration fee 100rs and it includes 2 times free visit in 90 days. It is always crowded, hospital opens 7am so it is better to visit as early as possible. They test you and send to doctor for consult, doctor barely speak to you for couple of minutes. I was attended by a dr.shivani Agnihotri who barely speaks tamil and tells you to speak with sister for more questions. This hospital is located in interior and people could barely speak any other language than tamil. My whole process took around 3 hours, and then you get sent to opticals shop which is inside, they charged 2400 for the glass excluding frame for my mom. You get the glass the same day but have to wait for around 3 hours. So it takes you around a day for whole process so prepare accordingly. Canteen is available inside serves you meals, meals is served at rupees 50, not so good , can be better. Hospital complex is huge with spacious parking and many tress. cafetaria is available inside for snacks and refreshments. TN chief minister insurance scheme is accepted for certain procedures. Many insurance and cashless insurance are accepted. Washrooms are clean.

Age group wise consultation and check ups. Highly equipped and treatment for any kind of eye problem. Fees/charges are reasonable I am visiting nealy 14 years now . If you are from nearby location you can visit evening to avoid long waiting time. Two shift: morning and evening. Staffs are friendly and Clam. There is small tea/coffee and snacks shop One canteen for breakfast and lunch. Rates are affordable but have less expectations on taste,variety and quantity.

Hospital is good and well maintained and pricesnfor treatment is also ok, but there is lots of waiting here may they should have more Doctors so that waiting time for patients will be reduced because in a normal clinic if it takes 2hrs it takesin 6hrs here that much waiting time is wasted, make sure you don't have any work on that day if you're planning to visit this hospital
