My wife had come today for her cataract treatment and the entire procedure, starting from The doctor's initial consultation, Planning the surgery, Dealing with the insurance dept. (Mr. Shyaam was extremely cooperating and a thorough professional), The procedure itself and Discharge was seamless. My history with Aravind hospital goes back to 2005 and it has indeed maintained its brilliant commitment towards patients. Dr. Anil had performed the surgery and we are happy with the treatment. I will definitely recommend this hospital. Thanks to the entire team!!
Well i saw all the reviews before going to the hospital. To be Frank little scared. But I had a pleasant experience. This is my first eye check up , i don't know how a hospital should or shouldn't be maintained. I won't say staff is very friendly and a adult don't need all those caring and pampering stuff , I won't expect that though. I had a decent conversation with junior doctor and with Dr.Namratha. Coming to the glass prescription i didn't felt any problem in collecting it from optical store on the way going out. So yeah I think it's better to avoid review here including mine and have a good consultation
just few minutes ago visited to the hospital for a good treatment. But in the reception the lady have don't even know how to talk..... Her behaviour ..... This is not only first time ... Few days ago also same situation done with the same lady ...... I have heard that the hospital provide good treatment to patients in a good and proper way but when I went I'm totally disappointed . they don't have patience to listen....don't even have manners and irritating to provide the information....
My wife have gone through cataract surgery. It was done very professionally but we waited for two and a half hour for the procedure. Being the old citizen it was difficult to wait. The reception should rectify this small thing that's all I feel.
Worst Service !! This hospital and staff deserve 0 star rating. I went to the hospital with a hope to get treated by one of the experience doctor for eye test, But to my surprise all junior doctors were available. And I was told experience doctor will be available only on Sundays, then why they are running hospital on other days in the name of Dr Aravind. I am not paying 400rs or 500rs to get treated by junior inexperienced doctors. Moreover, this people didn't even mentioned the eye sight number on the prescription or atleast communicated us to get it from the pharmacy as per their system. I see that majority of people facing same issues of not informing about the eye sight number and where to check it from. This I got to know when I visited the Optical shop as this Doctor suggested to wear spects without mentioning the sight number. Now again I have to visit the hospital to get the sight number all the way from 10km for which I already paid.... This is disgusting and pure Business tactics of being tied up with hospital opticals shop as the sight number are redirect to them to earn commission on sale of glasses. Pure negligence it's waste of Money and precious Time. Avoid such irresponsible Doctor's and Hospital. !! !!!
Worst hospital. Main consultant is available only on Sunday then y to run the hospital on his name? Giving false hope to the poor unaware patients who travel miles to visit specific Doctor. When we visited in hope of meeting Dr.Aravind Or his son atleast but had to forcefully consult Dr.Soundarya as we were left with no option. She is one of the Junior Doctor without any proper knowledge and doesn't know how to handle emergency cases. We went to the hospital with a hope to get our problem resolved . But to our surprise this people didn't even mentioned the eye sight number on the card or atleast communicated us to get it from the pharmacy as per their system. This we got to know when we visited the Optical shop as this Doctor suggested to wear spects without mentioning the sight number. Now again we have to visit the hospital to get the sight number for which we already paid.... Pure negligence it's waste of Money and precious Time in the name of brand which is of no use as Mr. Aravind himself is not available in the hospital whole week. His son visits only during morning hours rest of the time only Junior fellows are available who charge the same amount as Consultants without giving proper prescription or communicating correctly... Disgusting!!!! Avoid such irresponsible Doctor's and Hospital. !! !!!
Slow staff, take up a 100 patient when there is only 1 doctor, they dont value your time, unless you have 6 hours a day just to check the number of your eye, then feel free to come here . Very poor performance.
I visited this place for my mother eye cataract surgery. Dr. Subhas sir explained everything and gave enough confidence to prepare for surgery. Dr. Anil who attended the operation theater for surgery is well experienced. After all prerequisite tests, surgery was successful and it took 3 hours for discharge. The staff guided us well and helped through the entire process. Thank you everyone for the support.
