Awesome place in Burdwan District at the lap of Mother Nature. Must visit in Rainy season. Don't forget to keep your food and drinks with you. It is not available always in this remote area.

It is a beautiful place and full of natural beauty. The hotel Aranyasundari is in Valki Machan, around 140 km away from Kolkata in Burdwan district. Valki machan is very nice place for weekend trip on a low budget . There are 4/5 beautiful sights and many ancient temples and old rajbari .

A good place to spend a weekend, surrounded by forest and the best part is that it is completely isolated from the main city.

Best place for picnic in winter season. Enjoy with your family and friends. Shall forest is mind-blowing. There is a beautiful bungalow for tourists.

Had a recent visit. I am amazed with the cheap food and room rate. A real place to relax close to Kolkata and ideal for a weekend break from busy city life. Enjoyed the pure green jungle and fresh oxygen. Grill Chicken and fresh food made from wood Chulah (oven) brought the flavor from my Grand mom's kitchen in village. I would suggest anyone who is looking for a weekend relax with good food and break.
