I had chicken fried rice. They are serving in a plastic sheet like paper and charging 100 Rs / plate which is too much for the quantity & quality. With the amount they are charging they can serve in a Green Leaf.
I used to have biriyani at this restaurant every time I visit kumbakonam.
But every time I feel taste is different, I mean it is getting poor or not up to the expectation.
I think different person is preparing the food. So taste getting changed.
This time it was poor. No masala looked like plain rice with salt and masala.
Taste is getting poor,Food is Not Hot.
Yet to try other foods.
Overall not upto the expectation.
Insect in food... irresponsive answers...owner not even stand and answer to my questions. Need more hygiene
Quantity is high so as the price, 1 by 2 will be the best option for normal people. Everytime I eat there, I use to have a guilty feeling that I'm wasting food. Restaurant owner may reduce the quantity along with price so that it will be a win win situation for everyone. Atleast they can add a half biriyani as an option in the menu. Biriyani is above average than most of the restaurants. Not the best.
I pay the chiken thanthori via zomoto. It's not boiled even 50%. Taste also very worst and not hygiene. Then I speek with hotel Incharge but he also not accept the responsibility. My feel this is the one of worst hotel in kumbakonam. And also now time is 3.20Am (20/09/21), last few hours I suffering from stomach pain.
Not following the covid rule and regulation, Biriyani rice are half boil some time it is good no egg for biriyani , chicken 65 are not that much taste simply it is look like chicken 65, mutton biriyani too much costly.
Biryani is ok .but not worth for money 130 rupees.chicken 65is good 60rupees
