The price is reasonable too and he simply does not recommend on things that are not necessary for us, such a genuine person. While planning for a new planted aquarium I first visited the shop, Swaroop and Deepak were of great help in providing me inputs on what to plan. We discussed again a couple of times and decided on aquarium size, plants, fishes and landscape. It's been four months now and the aquarium is thriving well. They also provided great support whenever I had questions on maintenance. The shop is reasonably priced and offers good quality of fishes and products. I still ask questions and they gladly answer them.

Aquatopia is great store. I planned for my first shrimp tank last month and wanted to create a freshwater planted ecosystem. The owner- Swaroop with Deepak have helped me since day 1 and with every minute detail on my set up. For a newbie wanting to venture into a planted tank set up, Swaroop is an expert who was patient with the plethora of questions I threw at him, often going beyond and driving the extra mile to help me understand the nuances of the shrimp tank set up. They have a great freshwater selection that varies every time I go in, and their display tanks are beautiful. They have a great neighborhood feel that helps newbies like me to feel welcome and unintimidated by such a complicated hobby. I have surveyed the neighborhood and whilst they have beautiful offering, tend to be pricier or have a pretentious feel. Swaroop's offering in terms of the fish and the equipment is on par with the online stores. The store's fish and plant stocks definitely change frequently, and their selection/quality is better than most stores. You can as well place an order and will be contacted by Swaroop himself when back in stock. I'd recommend checking back often or calling first if you're looking for a specific species. Overall, I really appreciate having The Fish Store close by and love going in even just to look at the tanks!

Swaroop, the proprietor, is an excellent help on starting and keeping your aquarium, willing to help at all times. The prices are honest and the fish are excellent --perks of the store being an expression of a hobby more than a profit oriented business. If you're lucky you'll also get to network with other hobbyists at the store and learn a lot!

Best experience u will ever have. I feel Aqautopia is best aquarium store in Bangalore. The person who is incharge has a very good knowledge of fish and aquarium products. He helped me select the suitable fishes and also guided me how to do the maintenance in simple and easy ways. I have been to many store where u really lack the personal touch or proper positive advice and people just try to push stuff to sell. But in this shop it was different i was guided what to buy and what not - With a proper reasoning behind everything. Good luck and thanks again.

This small little Aquatic Shop is located in the interior of Chikka Banaswadi. The owner Mr. Swaroop is a very good person with in depth knowledge of the Aquatic World. The Aquarium and related Accessories sold here are also very good and reasonable in cost.

A real passionate shopkeeper who is humble, I'm definitely a new permanent customer, other shop keepers are so full of themselves with almost zero knowledge whereas swaroop is exactly the opposite. Purchased few almond leaves and a few ember tetras.
