Worst experience..always delay in bus timings... Less availability of buses... It's better to reserve the seat... Earlier.. for traveling Vijayawada to markapuram ... Horrible ... They only give priority to long distance travellers though seats are available... If you reserve your seat... They shut their mouths.. horrible experience..
Looking old... Not updated.. All area buses are available.. Better to increase ordinary buses from markapur to srisailam as ticket prices for express and super lexury is more.. Better to develop the surroundings.. Public toilets are not available..
Its one of dirties bus stands, All men urinate just opposite the bus boarding point, very uncomfotable sight for women. It stinks near the waiting point, really bad smell is emitted due to the urination and the also its used as a dumping ground for garbage. This leads to lot of mosquitoes breeding and passengers have tough time with the mosquito bites, its really horrible.
Bus stand is not well maintained. Better to increase more busses to srisailam. Need to wait so much time for busses. Cleaning is very poor. Toilets are not all clean. In enquiry counter there is no proper person to tell the details. There is no free drinking water here.
The bus stand is situated beside the Main road. Small Bustand with 4 to 5 route buses. Good sanitation is maintained nowadays. Under Renovation while I visited. No proper toilets available here. Buses to Bangalore and Vijayawada, dornala, nandyala, macherla etc available from here. Staff behaviour is also pleasant. They Need improvement in some stuff.

Markapur RTC is the Worst depot in prakasam district. Time was not followed by the drivers. Do not know when the bus will come. No time sense.
Markapur bus station is 5kms away from Markapur road(Markapur station)..Open 24 hrs..You can find frequent bus services for nearby cities..To travel Srisailam you can catch either a express or deluxe bus. Washrooms are too smelly from a distance.. Cleanliness not maintained at all.. Passengers sleep on all the available benches.. Difficult for other passengers to sit..
