Apsara Hotel - Featured Reviews (3255)
I'm left pondering what the buzz is all about when it comes to the food at Apsara Hotel. I gave their mutton dishes a fair shot, but they all fell short of my expectations. It seems like there's a lot of hype surrounding this place, perhaps fueled by vloggers. the sentimental value it holds for the locals due to its age can be understood, but when it comes to quality and taste, it sadly misses the mark.
I bought Biriyani from here since my mom wanted to try out the biriyani from this place and to be honest, it was Ok for me but my mother seems to have liked it. So this rating is from her. All I can say about the place is that it's very economical and we tried only the Chicken Biriyani. Their Mutton Biryani might be better than their Chicken Biriyani as it gets over very quickly.
I went to this most hyped place and ordered their mutton half biriyani and special tea. Half biriyani had a medium size piece of mutton and a small piece. They serve it with salad, pickle and green chutney. Mutton biriyani had an egg inside. it tasted good, flavorful rice and soft mutton pieces. Forr Rs115 it's worth a try. Chutney was delicious..chicken half biriyani costs 85 with one big piece inside. Tried their special tea which costs Rs15. Special tea was so tasty and worth the money. . Seating capacity is less compared to the crowd. Staff is well mannered.
Never let me down with the Biryani they serve. A reliable place to eat... Taste might have changed slightly over 25-30 years time but still delicious.
It's a poorly hyped hotel . I have tried chicken biriyani , it does not taste like chicken biriyani. It was like flavoured rice with chicken roast without salt or spices but added color in it. Hectic coordination , really crowded place . Then tried biriyani chaya it's a normal chai that is not mixed .
While going to Apsara for Biriyani the only headache is to find parking, so I decided to go by 12:30. As a Biriyani lover one of my favourite Biriyani spot is Apsara. I tried mutton and chicken biriyani from Apsara, it's too good for me. The masala mix and all very good. The Biriyani parcel in Apsara is just like pothichor. Don't judge a book by it's cover is same for Apsara, looks doesn't matter in the case of taste.
Tried their Chicken and mutton biriyani recently. But nowadays sadly it's not up to the mark as earlier. Still is good. Their chicken fry is a must try with porotta or idiyappam. The best thing is they dont use any food preservatives or additives like artificial colouring or flavouring items. Quality of food serving and staff's behaviour is very decent
Best mutton I ever had in Kerala... very tasty.. amazing fluffy kerala porotta.. really good coffee.. and the best part, very courteous staff.. they make you feel at home
I had shoulder pain and numbness in my hand. I recovered from the suffering by using Dr. Indira's medicine and achieved better results in disc complaints. I also received treatment for kidney stones, and upon my last check, it was completely healed.
