Its a nice place to stay in shantiniketan. Location was good just the BiswaBharati.Caretaker Gopal & chobi di was very good. Home made food quality is excellent. Specially Cohobi dir ranna.

If one wants to experience 'shanti' at Shantiniketan, do stay at this property. Reasons: 1. Well maintained property 2. Airy rooms and lots of open spaces (long verandah and well manicured garden) 3. A fantastic (and cheerful) team at the property (of Gopalda & Chhobidi) to take care of the kitchen and alway eager to provide that extra help if needed. 4. Great location - away from the noisy thoroughfare 5. Value for money (stay + food) 6. Courteous and helpful owner (Mr. Ghosh) Will we recommend or come back to stay here again? YES.

We stayed there recently on 14th Jan 2023 with our full family. We are extremely happy with the property,it's amenities,it's surroundings and freshly cooked food made by chobidi. Love to stay there over and over.

We had been there for a night's stay..with our family of 9 adults and 2 kids and essentially had the entire property at our disposal. The property is just fantastic and has been built and decorated with an evidently great sense of aesthetics. All needed amenities are available and the terraces adjoining 1st floor rooms are just too good with great views and make the ideal place for your laid back evening addas..so is the drawing hall with delectable furniture and so is the beautiful porch overlooking the lawn..just a few words of advice for the newcomers... 1) the property is very close to main road but we were misled by google maps into some adjoining barely motorable roads and kind of lost 40 mins hovering around barely saving our cars from scrapes....So when you are closeby just talk to some local toto drivers and they would hopefully guide you nicely. 2) The default food menu may not suit everyone so just call up the house staff in advance and get your choicest dishes done. It's a bit expensive to dine there but considering the fact that the entire housekeeping , cooking and security is taken care by the resident staff which is evidently done with good care , so the same can be overlooked. Staff are well behaved and will tend to your needs promptly. Food cooked was hygienic and tasty. During this covid time, it makes sense to avoid the crowd and that way this place suits your requirement nicely. Two things that can possibly improve ... 1. food menu(more items and better preparation techniques maybe) 2. The food staff are fantastic overall but their way of talking may give the guests a wrong image of money first mindset and you may end up evaluating your value for money strongly after dining there as a consequence. They are needy people who are managing everything all alone so due credits to them which not all would understand. So , maybe in the interest of all , I suggest they can showcase their hospitality even better by being more noticeably better at attending guest needs and not imposing something set as a 'default' or 'standard'. Mr. Ghosh , the owner had been very accommodating and extended his cooperation to take care of multitude of our requests through the course of our discussons and that was one very strong reason we went ahead with our choice while researching on a place to stay. We will be there at Aparajita over and over again for sure, it certainly is an abode of peace at Shantiniketan... Thanks!

We stayed in Aparajita for one night on 04- March. Excellent property very beautifully and artistically maintained lawns and garden. The location is also great with walking distance from Heart of Santiniketan. Above all the great hospitality and food from the hands of Gopal da and didi. As a small constructive feedback to Mr Anindya - the water pipelines need renovation. The flow of water in basins and taps is very slow. The flow of water from shower not good either.

Very beautiful and calm place, lots of greenery and flowers. The rooms are well equipped with facilities such as warm water, right ventilation, wardrobe, mirror, AC and lighting to make our stay comfortable. Food preparation is very hygenic and tasty. The caretakers of this place is polite and friendly. We loved our stay at this place.

Anindya's lovely bungalow in midst of uninterrupted greenery is the best thing that can happen to you in Santiniketan. The place is very well maintained , has 24hour in-house caregivers who will also cook awesome meals for you. The surrounding gives the feel of a forest and apart from the chirping of birds , no other sound would reach your tired urban ears . Our two days stay with friends was one of our most memorable weekend trips .

I stayed for 2 days at Aparajita, Purbapalli, with my family, one of my friend recommended this place, and I must say that our experience exceeded all our expectations. The bungalow is beautiful in all respect, the design, construction and the upkeep, it is spacious and decently furnished, we got it all for ourselves as luckily no one occupied other quarters. A quiet place with trees, plants and colorful flowers all around, our minds were immediately drawn to nature and the beauty of this wonderful Mother earth. We were overwhelmed by the hospitality and service of Gopal and Chhobi who arranged everything we needed and prepared delicious foods whatever we wanted to have, their warmth and attention to our every need made our stay enjoyable and memorable, we will go back to them again and again. I thanked Anindya, the owner, who was truly gracious and professional in whatever interaction we had. I recommend without any reservation to everyone to try this place and enjoy the peaceful abode, Santiniketan.
